House of the Dead 2
Everybody knows how great the original was, so of course there's a need for a sequel. House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim is the name, and for the third time today I'm creating a thread for a new movie because of their trailer. This movie does look like it will be quite humorous. Hey, at least Uwe Boll isn't directing this time. Oh and Sid Haig and Ellie Cornell are both in it! *EDIT You need Realplayer to view*

technically HOTD 2 is not a sequel since HOTD can't even be considered a movie.
Dead Aim...that reminds a very mediocre Resident Evil game

Very true as it should be considered a piece of shit. I may have to check out HOTD 2 now that I know Sid is involved.

Ellie Cornell will be in the movie...great, it's good to know that her legless dead character will be in the movie. What's the freakin point?

As much as I enjoy Ellie (and however she gets to be back is good by me - even if it is for 30 nanoseconds), I must confess I am asking "Why?" with this sequel given the first was so ... well, awful.
And, with ... Night of Day of Dawn of Return of Land of House of ... it's getting hard to imagine there are actually any zombies left at this point. LOL! They all start to look the same after a while. I'll give HOD2 a chance, but that's about all.

I agree. Zombie movies are everywhere now. I get bored from almost all of them. It was great when the Dawn remake brought them back but now it getting very tedious. I'm glad to see Hollywood take the horror genre in a new direction.

it seems alot better then the first (which of course isn't saying much), and i'm gonna check it out. Victoria Pratt & Emmanuelle Vaguier are awesome, and Sid Haig needs no further praising then he already has...i'll check it out for sure.

I checked this out ...
** POTENTIAL SPOILER SPACE ** I have to admit it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be (and it was light years ahead of the original). One of the new staffers over at Icons of Fright just ripped this up one side and down the other. But surprisingly, I actually found myself disagreeing on the severity of awfulness. That said, it is nowhere near spectacular or memorable. But is it so-bad-it-has-to-be-good? No (IMHO). Is it worse than the original? No (IMHO). I thought it was just sort of plain, mediocre and predictable. Also, they DO link this film (in a subtle way) to the original. Much of the press leading up to this sequel suggested there was absolutely NO connection to the original film (translation: they did not want the connection for obvious reasons - LOL!). That is actually not true. They do connect the two - if only for a few moments. And, the way this film ended, it left the door well open for a third installment. Oy.

Yeah I rented this movie the other day on video I have to tell you worst horror movie I have seen this year the most pathetic part is, is that Sid Haig is in it he did so bad and its hard to believe because he was so good in devils rejects, the only reason he did this was plainly visible........... money.
I cant believe phatmaster 2006 said that the first was a masterpiece its fine that you think that just its weird.
