First three songs = amongst the worst songs the band have ever recorded. Made-to-be-singles, pop rubbish. But I still love 'em (but that's the biased side of me you didn't want
) But from there onwards, it's pretty damn good. I Belong To You is weird as fuck (Matt singing in French) and Guiding Light is as cheesey as they come, but there's some pwoper riffs (Unnatural Selection) and then Matt Bellamy's own Symphony composition over the last three tracks, Exogenesis. Overall, fairly solid album, but by no means their best. -
