Now damn these are cool. Hawthorne Village is making a new set this year called "Village of Horror Classics" which includes miniature replicas of Freddy's house, Camp Crystal lake cabin and Leatherface's farmhouse and the set will include little figures. These light up and I've included a link to see a photo(small). I've already signed up for these!........................Larry

Very cool. Is there a link to bigger pics of the buildings/houses? Maybe they'll do a Halloween house next.

I'm guessing that it is a licensing issue as to why there is no "Halloween" included here...man that would be great though! Here are some bigger better pics.........

I think most Hawthorne Village sets are for sale at regular stores (non-internet) but the only way to get the exclusive figures, 6 in total, is to order from them............................Larry

Thanks. I really have to consider this. I don't use credit cards. I was hoping they would also accept a different payment option.

Hahahaha. I order from Hawthorne Village for my Simpsons Christmas Village set. And the funny thing is, I was just thinking about how it would be funny for them to make a horror village set.

Man, this even beats out those killer Halloween miniature sets, like the Spooktown, Haunted House, etc. You know, the ones they sell @ Michaels and stuff during Halloween season.

But it figures that Michael is ignored.

Oooo! I want that Elm Street house! :jump:

Also: I would imagine Halloween is "ignored" because this is a New Line product. Not a Trancas product. ;)

The first would be cool, but no Myers? They could do an entire village just with the Myers story. The Myers house, HMH, etc.

I just got the New Line horror village. It's really, really cool. Although be warned, you just get the one "house" and two accompanying figurines per set for the three sets. A lot of the smaller accessories in the photo, like the Camp Crystal Lake sign and the landscape, naturally don't come and don't seem to be available otherwise. It's fine by me, I have a lot of fun setting them up myself. Now hopefully for next Halloween I can be all caught up with the Universal sets, too.

I was under the impression that the Myers house wasnt released in the hawthorne village collection because halloween isnt a new line movie and Elm street, Friday the 13th and TCM are. So the Doyal house must not come with this collection.

It says nothing about the Doyle house here:

http://www.collectiblestoday.com/ct/product/prdid-48196.jsp?halloween/_prod/_17&endeca=true&abbr=hw

or if you can buy the seperatly. I don't think you can. It looks like a subscription service. It's pretty pricey. I wish I could afford it.

To who and what is that directed at? I have the hawthorne series, and asked about a Myers addition and posted the e-mail I got from The Hawthorne Collection. I was told they did not have it nor did they think they were going to. So if anyone has pics and info, I would like to see it.

You have got to be flippin' kidding me!!! --> 05 DAWN OF THE DEAD MALL

I seriously am going to look into this promotion now because of that very item in addition to the Doyle House. I recall finding the ad in my mom's copy of the National Enquirerer of all places, lol. :p I wasn't interested since as everyone here pretty much knows...they only feature the houses from F13, NoES and TCM. Not that I'm no fan of those films, but I'm not exactly a hardcore collector. However, now some of those pieces really have got my attention and I really would like to find some pics and info. concerning them. So please, please, please if anyone has got pictures of the Dawn of the Dead mall and/or Doyle house...I would certainly love to see them. Thanks (and sorry for begging) ;)

-on a side note, I do realize that some or many of these items haven't even been made yet, but if anyone even manages to run into concept art...I would take anything!
