After purchasing yet another Michael Myers 18" Doll (Limited Series) of eBay, I pulled it out of the box and noticed something funny about it....there was no blood! I already own the bloody version (show here):

But I guess they must have made two different versions of it...(the one I just got):

Has anybody else seen this or heard of this? Hmm, maybe it's a rare find...or maybe it's not.

I'm pretty sure they made 2 versions on purpose. I seem to recall seeing them at Spencer's. I guess some people do not want blood marks all over their toys.

Hmm...I didn't see this version at that time. And whenever I check on ebay or anywhere else, they are all the "Bloody" versions.

Bloody versions are probably more popular among the collectors, and I do remember them releasing two versions. But the good thing is that now you have both!!

The Non-Bloody version (which is what I own) is the rarer of the two. I asked this on the board a few months ago--the nonbloody is limited edition of 30,000 (I have #2773)while the bloody version came out afterwards with a limited number of 100,000

i thought they had two versions of it since i had seen more of the non bloody ones then the ones with blood. mostly seen at spencers and a few other places i never figured id see them.

Yes, the non-bloody version is more rare, but not necessarily all that hard to get as I see them on Ebay all the time. I remember buying my bloody version from Spencer's a long time ago and the box that goes with it has oozing blood at the top whereas the non-bloody doll also comes with a non-bloody box...it's just black. Both of the dolls come numbered, with the non-bloody varient having come out first...just as MinioN previously stated. I did not know that there were so many more bloody versions though, so that is definitely good to know.

I have the bloody one and I paid $13 at Spencer's for it. If you have one in the area, CHECK THERE FIRST. Ebayers tend to overprice these A LOT.

I bought the nonbloody one for like $20 or $25 new at Spencers---but that was wayyy back in like 1998 or so...

To my knowledge, Spencers stop carrying these guys a looong time ago...like back in '02...I guess some could have some laying around...but they're gone now.

you never know. I realize it was a long time ago they were sold, but I'd still check there since ebayers ask way too much sometimes

Oh man, I paid quite a bit for mine (bloody version) since I bought it when they first came out. I believe it was somewhere between $30 - $40, but I would gladly pay that price again because I love having a doll of Michael. I actually think that the prices on Ebay have been pretty good...if you check all the possible titles that the listing could have and that he still comes with his original RIP box.

ah!! i finally got a michael doll without the bloody version from ebay! i was a bit disappointed but then again i enjoy sleeping with it every night! it is so nice to have that doll except for one thing: does anyone know how to turn off that halloween music? it's really bugging me at night. it feels like an alarm clock or something. :)

There is a velcro thingy on the back. Open it open, then open the velcro no the bag inside up...there should be a switch to turn it On and Off.

the first time i got my doll, i was so happy but then i turned around and saw EXTREME jealousy on my boyfriend's face. never mind him, i mean, c'mon, it's a doll, he's a fiction character. dude, the guy has pornos and i can't have a michael myers doll? reasonable and fair enough to me. so every night i have to sleep with my doll, it is so comfortable! but my boyfriend's jealousy still continues. he will never touch it if it's held by me but if it's home alone with him, then i have to hide it or take it with me. already he stabbed my doll but i sewed it back up and he still looks good. ah... this is the story about my doll, crazy and psychotic, huh?

A tad. It's ok though.....It's always nice having a girlfriend/boyfriend that enjoys the same things that you do. I'm so glad that my girlfriend and I can watch the entire Halloween, F13, NOES, and others...and actually enjoy them. She understands all of my interests and collecting stuff...so yeah, it's ok..

The non bloody one came out first. The bloody was come out sometime after. The non bloddy one is the rarer one.

I now own 2 non-bloody varients of the 18" Myers doll. Both in perfect condition. Although they are both out of the box, they are still a very nice piece.

I'll be putting one of them up for sale on these boards. So if you are interested, stay tuned for the post.

I've got 2 of them as well. Both still in the box and with the little stickers on the belly where you press the button to make the music. I'd part with them, but I'm not right now. heh

I used to have one of the 12" action figures, but 1 week after I bought it my older sister picked it up and decided to play exorcist with it's head, and then I hear "Kelli, the head popped off." ARRRRRGGGH!!

Hi everyone, its chaos calling.....may I have a moment of your time??

I bid, won and recieved ( I, of course, condensed this for time restraints ) an 18" NECA Michael Myers. Is this considered to be the "favorite" by most of you guys??........if not, any reccomendations?? I originally had the 18" MacFarlaine (series 1) which of course looks crummy unless you do a little work on him, but I think the Laurie sound clip is way scarier than the heavy breathing of my new one....oh well.

I also have the 19' Jason from F vs J. I believe both the MM and JV figures are of the same scale and Jason like totally dwarfs Micheal!!.....it's funny cause you have to tilt MM head up so they can "face-off"!!
