Just picked this up...haven't yet received it but was wondering if you guys know anything about this press photo. The caption at the bottom is different than the regular press photos usually found...........................Larry

I saw that on eBay, but thought the Buy-It-Now was a bit much. You'd have to wait and read the caption to get the answers you need, because it doesn't seem to give anything away in that pic!

Thanks Paul....I was on the fence about the price also but I've had items that slipped away when I had a buy it now in front of me so I bit.........I'll post a better pic when the photo arrives. I was just curious if you'd seen any stills like this before.....................Larry

The photo was part of an extremely rare, pre-release press kit which originally included a cover sheet, the photo shown, and a full color photo of the film's poster art. The kit was only issued for and by the California Press.

The caption below the photo reads:

JAMIE LEE CURTIS IS SHOWN HERE IN A SCENE FROM THE IRWIN YABLAN'S PRODUCTION OF "HALLOWEEN", THE SUSPENSE-THRILLER OPENING AT SELECTED THEATERS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON OCTOBER 25. DIRECTED BY JOHN CARPENTER, "HALLOWEEN" ALSO STARS DONALD PLEASENCE.

I've had items that say, for instance, had an opening bid of $9.95 with a buy it now option of $24.95 and placed a bid. Once a bid was placed the buy it now option is gone. Now that damn item ended up going for close to $50 so I had to pay that much when I just could have used buy it now............Larry

I finally got around to shooting a couple of pics of that H1 Pre-Release Press Kit that I promised to post a while back.

The first photo shows all of the contents:

Rogers and Cowan is one of the biggest public relations firms in the world. They're still around today. I've got a press sheet from them for H1, which is set out quite similar to the one in Josh's pics.
