I have both the VHS and Beta '79 "Meda" misprints, as well as an Australian H5 AMV/Alliance VHS with the wrong rating on it, and an H4/H5 Australian double VHS set that also has the incorrect rating.

Sweet, Mike..you're very lucky. I assumed you only had those handful of tapes ('81 H1, '89 H4, four screeners). One day you must post the whole collection.

Nah, it won't blow you all away. I only have the bare essentials in my collection. Most of my VHS are gone considering I'm not a big collector of those. The 81 is still sealed. That's my prize.

I have H1 Media VHS tape where Akkad is spelled wrong (Akad) and Myers is spelled wrong (Meyers)

At least you have the '79 misprint, Mike - that's the VHS I want the most. "I've been hunting the bastard thirty years, give or take. Came close a time or two." Well, not really. I just ogle over pictures.

I have the 1982 MEDIA misprinted as 1981, and the same thing Tommy has for the '89 accidental MEDIA TV release and '90 MEDIA/Video Treasures. Intreresting fact about the '90 - it's recorded in LP speed. bleh

Ah, I just remembered some more (I'm so stupid). I've got a H3 Australian VHS released by Force Video in 1997 that credits Peter Jamison as the producer (he was in fact the production designer), instead of Carpenter/Hill. Also, if you're including names spelt incorrectly, there's dozens with Pleasence spelt as "Pleasance", and as has been mentioned, ones with "Meyers" and "Akad". There's also that "Jaime Lee Curtis" one on the Goodtimes VHS. :D

Cool to see that so many people have them. I think I may have one or two of those Austrailian vhses you mentioned Taft. Anyone else collect foreign vhses or dvds besides Taft or I?

I have a few of these misprints VHS tapes. Mainly they misspell Myers as Meyers. I got them from a used CD store. They aren't all that rare if you are still looking to score some of them. You just have to do a little looking around.

I've always wanted an uncut version of the "H1: TV-cut" in full-screen.
