halloween theme on guitar

hey if anyone was intrested in learning to play the halloween theme on the guitarheres how.:cool:

I haven't tired it yet but I have a gutair and I can read tabs so I can play that if I want to. I may try it later.

I can't play a Gutair but i can play it on a Keyboard! I got the notes from Halloweenmovies.com! the person that made it wasn't close to the real thing at all! but still! I had to change things around and find the right keys for it!!! I love playing it over and over and making it my own way! its cool!

Well just to let you know I'm no Pianist! I can just take songs work on them and play them out! I can't put it into detail like you did for the guitar! Alls I can tell you is to do what I did! Go to Halloweenmovies.com and learn that main beat! Which Im sure you already know! use the first films 20th anniversary soundtrack to help you find all the octaves in the song! If you have a good ear like me I'm sure you will find all the notes really fast! The octaves on the bottom of the keyboard "the lower pitches" will keep going up and the high octaves which is the 5:4 time off 1 beat will keep going down! I just kept messing with it till I knew I had it Right! If you are like me and have listened to the HalloweeN theme millions and millions of times then you are sure to figure it out really fast! I also used the halloween 4 DvD and watched Alan Howarth on the Keyboard in the Documentary! It was hard to tell at some points but you can see what keys he is hitting for the 5:4 time off 1 beat!

So hope that helps you out!

a friend of mine also plays it on the bass guitar and it sounded awesome. he is also going to put it on tape for me with a hevy metal type version he is trying to come up with. what i heard of it so far its awesome just wish i could play so i could do it myself

ya i play guitar and i play it this ay also. TABs

but thats the way i tried and made up. the 7nth fret and open twice part can be repeated twice isntead of three times, but i tohught it sounded cooler like that.

Yeah, I tried this out. It sounds alright, but it's only half of the arrangement. When I can be bothered I'll put up the rest what I figured out.

I used to have the piano notes for it but i lent em to a friend and never saw the notes again,and its easy to learn how to play it on the piano,my sister is terrible playing the piano but i showed her how to play the halloween theme on it easily

Thanks, Chad! I am no longer doing music for various reasons, though. I have one other song that I have written down. It is "Return of the Shape" from H4. I could post that for anyone that wants it. :)
