Too bad the sunshine makes it harder to see. Plus, it's a used mask.

So what exactly happened to the hair? It looks like a brillo pad.
Custom gone horribly wrong? Or did Mikey take a tumbled out of car moving 75+ MPH?

I own that mask and I like it.
The inside of the mask perfectly matches the contors of my face so it is like wearing a custom fit mask. VEry comfortable.

That picture really doest do it justice.

I got the both Cinema Secrets masks! the John Carpenter one and the Resurrection one! I love them both! but the hair keeps wanting to go forward and not stay down! I had to make some adjustments to it!!!!

No, that picture doesn't do it justice at all.
For a $40 dollar mask, you can turn that thing into a damn fine Myers mask.
I collect masks and being a member of the TheHMA get all the inside crap on how to do it.
Just use makeup and shadowing techniques to create outlines of the sculpted cheeks and lips.
Comb the hair and trim as necessary.
Spray the hair w/ hairspray and style it.

Trim the eyes and the neck a little bit and go over the mask w/ a blowdryer to get rid of any distortions.
This is what I did to mine and it looks a hell of a lot better than the one in the picture.

The picture of the first mask in the light is actually yellow.
This can be fixed just like my above post.

It is the newer version of the Myers mask from Don Post and is much better after these following instructions.

Rip the hairy eyebrows off...underneath there are perfectly sculpted ones on the mask.
Trim the eyes, comb the hair and trim it, style it, take acrilic and paint and get rid of the yellow color.
Then take some type of bleach or other product to take away some of the white so the detail can come through as well as a flesh tone.

Trim the neck and make any other shadowing details and dont forget to fix those distortions w/ a blowdryer. Stretch the mask a bit and get it loose and used.
It should now look much better.

Is that the Nemesis made by David at Boogeymanmasks?

No. Just a standard Nem by CGP but Version 1 barely weathered. It's a rare piece. I might sell it in a few months. I don't want to sell it, it's just too good. The hair is so finely crafted.

How much were you thinking of running it for?
I may be interested.

Well, I was told that they hardly made any straight forward ones. Most of them were trying to emulate Dick Warlock wearing it, rather than how it looked in Halloween 1. Personally, it looks like a converted Stardate 78, which is exactly what I wanted. I've been waiting about 20 years to get a mask like this, I'm really picky.

Also, the Nemesis are no longer being made, I'm sure you know that. You can only get them by getting them 2nd hand now. And personally, I don't think it gets any better. The mask I have could be thinner, but I don't think they want to sell thin pulls like in the movie. That mask got beat up pretty badly just from Halloween to H2. It's not too thick though, I'd say medium.

Well, you could tell Terry whether you want a H1 or H2 version when you ordered the Nemesis. He made both. Also the Nemesis is still being produced by both Jackintheboxmasks and Boogeymanmasks.

Perhaps others are using the mold, but it's like someone copying an artists work, not quite the same. If it's not a CGP Nemesis, it's not a true Nemesis. You can say that about any mask. Who ever made it first, made it best. Otherwise non of these masks will hold their value if they just crank em out cheap like those sites.

They officially bought them from Terry and Boogeymanmasks is selling it for $225 - just like Terry. There are about 150-200 Nemis out there, but of course it is great to have it directly from Terry. :)

Ahhhh.... Okie Dokie. Man, he shouldn't have sold it. Kinda screws the people who bought it as an investment.

Yep, but the people who have actually bought one from Terry can be of having one. I think I'm gonna get one after my H2O from the movie mold arrives. :)
