Rate the Banner

[The Dark Shape]

As each franchise forum gets its own custom banner, I think it'd be fun for the users to rate them on a scale of 1 (worst) - 10 (best).

I give it a 6. I would have given it a 10 if there was something from Return of the Living Dead in there... like Linnea Quigley as Zombie Trash ;)

Yea...I should have put some ROTLD zombies in there, but I dont like that movie, so boo! And plus seeing is, most of the time Trash is nude, and I doubt anyone on this board would condone that kinda material on a banner...or am I just being a prude?

Did ya not read my reply to this question the last time you asked it? I said it was just black space from where Johnny's hand meets the shadow on the Cemetary zombie. I didnt think it would be a big deal since it enhances the word ZOMBIE more clearly. I had no idea it would be intended as being "gay".

Thanks for the other kind words fellas...I really like the colors that are in this forum, it gives the feeling of being underground, and kinda connects the banner. If you guys feel the banner is sub par, you can take it down and have Ray do it. I dont mind.

i like the idea of trying to replicate the dawn of the dead font, but i like the font they used for the movie "undead" a little better. i think it would look cool on this banner.

still, i'm not complaining. the hint of red color on the zombie on the right (is that bub? it's been forever since i have seen the original dawn of the dead?) is great.

Nah that's Flyboy from Dawn of the Dead, Bub is on the left and he's from Day of the Dead.

Have you seen that movie Undead? It is one gory zombie flick and has so much potential to be one of the greatest, but it takes the wierdest turn towards the end of the movie. And the music sounds like its straight from a Disney flick Ha!. Buts its a pretty fun movie to watch, especially when your drunk as a skunk,

i haven't seen undead yet, but i want to. and it looks like i need to brush up on both dawn of the dead and day of the dead. i'm going on vacation at the end of october, so i have time to do my homework then. i should be seeing shaun of the dead this weekend though.

I'm quite sure it's black to reflect the poster art of 'Dawn of the Dead'. Ever see the poster before? It has that zombie head peering out from the horizon. Anyway, I thought that was really creative, especially how Chomp got the font to look so reminiscent of the 'Dawn' font.
