My platoon was having trouble learning how to march correctly, so our instructor, Master Corporal Daigle, us told us to walk like "movie tough guys" but swing our arms, too. So I thought "Well, Michael Myers is pretty tough. I'll walk like him".

*presto*

I didn't catch shit for not being able to march any more.

True story.

Gotta walk like Mike. They should make a commercial for this, like those old I want to be like Mike commercials for Jordan.

I wanted to, but the instructors didn't need an excuse to give me shit, so I repressed the urge.

Hey, interesting story! Sounds good to know the Halloween series can relate in a positive way in real life. :)

Well, I'd be reluctant to call the army 'real life' :-)

Now, the way my luck goes, if I developed some of Michael's 'other' habits, the army'd love me. "Show's initiative" they'd probably say, or "a self-starter with an intuitive grasp of the responsibilities of his position".

*sheesh*
