Well they used different masks in all the movies so that is why his hair looks different in each movie. But an afro? nah..................

Seriously, there is a scene where Michael's hair is exceptionally poofy. It's in the beginning of HR, when Michael is in the hospital chasing Laurie, in the staircase. Looks like he had fun with a blow drier! ;)

Maybe he takes out his pyschological frustrations of his penis size on his family relatives because he had a very real dream that Laurie lost control of a lighter and burnt off half of it. It's my opinion that this was a last minute shot of some sorts.

And, there were parts in the movie (h20 mainly) where there was a bulge but it certainly wasnt small.
