Anyone hear of this? This is news to me. Makes me want to get this and the Jason Voorhees mini bust. I'm not really into busts or mini busts, but these are awesome. Very cool looking. :)

The butcher knife is removable.

Those are pretty cool. I'd probably only get the Michael one though.

Here's the Freddy one. The description is wrong..it talks about the Jason bust, but the pic is there.

Thats cool too. It would be cool to have them all. The picture looks blurry when big. Are there any others? Like Pinhead or Leatherface?

Here is a link to a Leatherface mini bust, but no pics yet. I can't find a pic of him. I never realized(sp?) how many horror mini busts there were.

These look awesome too. $40 a piece. To get them all it would be expensive.

They look very nice, i never understood why busts are armless. If they did from the waist up with arms also i think it would be 10x better but i'll still consider getting them;)

He's got that "You lookin' at me?" face, lol. It's cool how they made the pumpkin from the movie just right.

Holy cow! Those are incredible! I absolutely love the Mikey one! Crud...now another cool collectible I have to save some $$ for. Are these things limited or hard to get a hold of?
Thanks

It looks as though the Myers one is the only bust the successfully made not look crappy. Definately gets my attention. Now im not to up on how much collectibles run you, but is 35 alot for an 8 inch bust?

Considering the fine detail that went into the Mike bust, I'm going to say no since it is unique. The NECA figures cost a touch more (if not the same in some areas) and other collectibles run about $30 and up so I am going to say this is a rather good deal but this is my perspective because I will tend to just blow money on cool stuff right off the bat. Now if these are limited in any way...then it's a Hell yes. I think this bust is a must...sorry I just had to do that ;) :D

The Myers one won't be out for awhile, and no pictures of the Leatherface bust have been put out yet. Also note that they are trying to make it so the pumpkin lights up from the inside. You can read more about it on here http://www.necaonline.com/hallownews10.html
They also have a crow bust for those interested, and they plan on continuing the line with more and more busts.

Hey thanks for the link and info TaddSays!

The whole LED light for the pumpkin sounds awesome! I will be sure to pick this up once it eventually hits stores. Now I remember having seen the Jason one in Suncoast but I have never seen any of the others. I cannot wait for this item! :D

Today I picked up both the Jason and Freddy ones at my local Suncoast. They were so heavily discounted that I couldn't say no to them. They each cost $8 and I was able to grab a strand of Leatherface lights for just $5 (also made by NECA). All that for a mere $21 was a terrific deal. I would never pay $30 or more on these because the Freddy bust has paint that chips easily (off the glove feature), the knives on the glove are warped (not just mine as many of them come that way) and the hat is made of plastic and easily breaks. However, I must admit that Freddy looks awesome without the hat and the glove is actually an easy fix...well the paint part is. The Jason one is more durable and the little things make him awesome. I love the removable machete, chain and mask. The hockey mask came somewhat warped but I am fixing that with rubber bands until it finally molds itself into the right shape around Jason's head. Overall, I would say these are worth $15 - $20 max...nothing over that. As for Mike, I have yet to buy him when he becomes available, but I don't think I will splurge on the cost for him, as the pre-orders have been $30 and above. I believe he will be the coolest of the bust figures with the light-up jack-o-lantern, but I am hoping to find a deal on him later down the road like I did with these. I will post pics of the both of them after I have fixed them up a bit. Plus has anyone seen the Leatherface pics yet or heard any news on that one? I am excited to see something since I have now begun collecting these.

I just took a few pics of the Freddy & Jason NECA busts, as I promised I would. At least all of you can see unstaged normal pics displayed by a fan...although mine are just temporarily spread out on my floor. Anyway, here are the links to my pics:

I heard that the whole pumpkin lighting up wasn't going to happen.
This was on their website back when I checked it.
I guess they figured out a way to get it to work.

And SilverPsycho those pics are great!!
I wish I had that bottled water...

Hey Silverpsycho, thanks for the heads up on the sale at Suncoast and for posting photos!

I'm another not-so-much-of-a-fan-of-the-busts due to the lack of arms. But a sale? Who can resist a sale?? ;)

Silverpsycho

Sure no problem :)

I am not sure if every Suncoast has them on clearance but people in my area aren't much of collectors when it comes to horror memorabilia...so I guess that is a good thing for me. I just wish that those awesome snowglobes could have been there as well. They are way cooler than the busts!

Still, you may want to check out your local Suncoast just to see if they possibly have anything nifty up for grabs. All that's left at mine are a ton of Army of Darkness small figurines.
