Here you can place all the funny stories you have that have to do with Halloween.

I remember last year at a Halloween party this guy was dressed up as Michael Myers and he sucked at acting like him. So I gave him a few pointers. It helped him, but not much,

Share your stories.

I have a cat that,when I named her,I called her Ahmed Johnson.
But,after a few years, the name got stale, and I was toying with some ideas. So,I went back to de basic'k,and started calling her Akkadghoulash and Moustaphababish.Indeed, the first cat named after the propietior of HalloweeN.And she's not even black.:D

For the past ten years I have been dressing up as Michael on Halloween night and I think I have been referred to as Jason a lot more than Mikey. I like to try and pull off the head tilt and everything, which is a ton of fun for me.

Now the worst part was actually this past Halloween when some girl came up and poked me in the eye thinking I was a mannequin or something. After that, I proceeded to slowly follow her and her group while they went trick-or-treating. That was great :D

There was another girl who ran away screaming after realizing that I was a real person. She just went out into the street and stared at me for the longest time. It was like she was afraid to turn her back on me.

What is absolutely the best is that everyone thinks that there is a guy inside that costume when no...I am a girl. I get many awkward hugs from girls but I just try to shove them off to stay in character. If they only knew...lol. :D Now my best friend (who is a guy) wants to come to my house and portray Michael just for the hugs.

I too usually dress up as the Shape.
One year,I placed some dummies [clothes filled with newspaper] on the stairs leading to our house, and I would sit at the top on a chair, with the H4 theme handy, ready to blast.

Well,I proceeded to scare group of kids after another. One lady sticks out though, cos she got more scared than her kids did,and nearly fell down the stairs just to get away from me.She looked like that black girl in Scary Movie when theyre watching the movie, you know, the one with the eyes bulging and jumps out of her seat with her mouth open in fear.It was great.

Dressed up last year also with minimal results.Just alot of people looking at me all crazy like wtf!?Adults and children fear the Shape.

I worked in a Hauted House one year for a country club, dressed up as Michael, and this like 50 year old woman looked like she should be hired to star in a Halloween she looked so scared and screamed so loud.

Hahaha.Thats funny as hell.
When I worked at a random party store, they had me go out and dress up as the Grim Reaper. This was a 9' costume, and I was out there pretty much an hour at a time [before it got unbreatheable],had bottles thrown at me,people bringing their kids to take pictures with me,and even had my picture put in a local newspaper.:D

Hahaha. They only hire you if youre 20 and have fake titties and cant scream, though.:DThats the prerequisite for horror films nowadays.

Once I dressed up for halloween as the shape, i went to this house that had all this scary music playing. The second they opened the door the halloween theme came on. Pretty wierd.

My friends Peter and Ryan introduced me to Halloween when I was 7. Peter and Ryan were brothers, and I used to go over their place to hang out, play video games, and watch horror movies. Every Halloween movie I've seen with them (even drove to Orlando to check out Resurrection together a few weeks after it came out). Anyway, my funny story has to do with a prank Ryan pulled on Peter. Naturally, it was Halloween, so after trick or treating we went to their house, popped in one of the Halloween movies (this was back in the late 80's, when I was 8 or 9, so the series only consisted of the films up to H5), munched on some Halloween candy, and got a sugar rush. After watching a couple of the movies, we started to get ready to go to bed (I was crashing at their place). While Pete was out in the living room rewinding and putting away the movies, Ryan snuck in his room and slipped the Halloween soundtrack CD into Pete's player. Then he put on the Myers mask, grabbed a plastic knife he'd had as a prop for his Halloween costume, and hid in the closet. I crashed on the floor and waited for the surprise to spring itself. You see, Peter listed to music everynight on his CD player/radio before going to sleep (very progressive for an 8 year old, I know). So as he climbed into bed, he turned off the light and turned on his CD player. In a few seconds the theme started playing, which confused Peter. Next thing you know Ryan jumps out of the closet, mask on and waving the knife, scaring the crap out of Pete!! He figured it out after a few seconds, but the look on his face (even in the dark) was priceless.

I've worked in a haunted barn/ haunted hayride (it alternates from year to year) for a few years now and most of the time, I've played The Ring's Samara. But one year, I decided to go as Michael and OMG it was so fun... On my way to the barn, I was driving out with some friends and we stopped at a red light. My window was down for some reason (middle of fall- go fig), but I turned my head to look out and saw some really preppy girl I know from school (I can deal with most preppish-types, and some aren't so bad, but this one was the worst I'd ever met- Sometimes I wonder why she doesn't get cramps in her neck from sticking her nose so high up in the air). It was so great because whilst I was trying to see through the eyeholes of my mask, she noticed me and screamed because she though I was staring at her, lol. She took off and ran in the other direction and now I can't even look at her in school without giggling...
Anyway, the rest of the night was rather uneventful, except for the fact that some middle-aged lady showed up claiming to be Michael Myers when all she had done was paint her face white and put on a wig of crazy black hair
Oh, and this little girl was entranced by me while I was "playing" in the guts of one of my "victims." That is, until her dad had the bright idea of me shaking her hand, which of course shattered the whole illusion because I was wearing red nail polish that I had forgotten to take off before hand... Great going Dad... Dashing a little girl's dreams like that. It's just not right.

That is great stuff! ;)

I remember when I was throwing a Halloween party, a few of my friends there got freaked out when my mom tossed something at them from the kitchen (we have an area in our kitchen overlooking our family room). It freaked them out pretty bad, which was so funny. You can really get people during and after the Halloween films. However, your story was awesome! I know I would have been freaked out! :D

What mask??

Was it good looking, or was it a mass-produced HORRIBLE one.

I'm a mask collector and proud member of The HMA...so I was just wondering.

As a teen, i had a girl come over on a date. My mom and dad went in the other room, and left the living room to us. I popped in 'Halloween' She had never seen it.
When Laurie goes upstairs and finds the bodies, I waited until just before Bob swings down from the door way, I grabebd her on her leg, to spook her. She jumped and spilled her coke can all over the carpet. Man, I had to stop the movie, and clean up the mess as fast as I could. But Lord, did she jump!!!!
