Grace Anderson Mental Institution
Fade into John Tate walking up the front lawn of Grace Anderson. He gets to the door. He looks around then makes his way to the front desk.
John: Um, can you tell me where Laurie Strode’s room is please, I’m her son.
Desk Clerk: Sure can son
(He looks through a book) That’s room 278, up on the second floor.
John: Thank you sir.
He walks over to a standing map and finds room 278, it is the room at the very end of the hall. We see John walk up the stairs and pass the same door that led to the roof as seen in H8. The camera is right behind John and he walks to the door with a little round glass window in it at the end of the hall. He knocks twice then proceeds to walk in. We see Laurie sit up in bed a little bit, with a very surprised look on her face.
Laurie: Oh my God, John. It’s been so long since I’ve seen you.
She stands up and goes over and hugs him for a long time. We see a tear roll down her cheek and one roll down John’s.
Cut to them sitting at a little table in Laurie’s room, talking.
Laurie: John, there is something really important that I need to tell you.
John: What is it Mom?
Laurie: I haven’t been telling you the truth for the past 17 years. The reason I have been so scared that Michael would come back is that I, and a lot of other people know, that he didn’t die in that fire in 1978. He was only in a coma for 10 years. Then in 1988 he finally woke up from that coma. He woke up because he heard about his little niece, Jamie Lloyd.
John: Wait, if she was his niece that makes her . . .
Laurie: My daughter, your sister. Yes John, it’s true. This is what happened:
Cut to flashback
Laurie (Voiceover): Only a couple months after Halloween in 1978 I married Jimmy Lloyd, the hospital worker that helped me on that night. We had Jamie in 1980. I was a wreck and Jimmy couldn’t handle it anymore. We got divorced and I remarried a couple months later. My second husband and I had you in 1981. For a while it was all of us living together, but you were not even a year old so you didn’t remember Jamie. About two months after you were born, my second husband and I got divorced. He got custody of you and moved to California. I stayed in Haddonfield with Jamie. I knew it wasn’t safe for her to be living with me. So in 1987 I faked my death in a car accident so Jamie could be adopted, giving her new parents, making her safe. It was for my own safety as well. I moved out to California to find you and your father, and changed my name as well. Your father gave up custody of you to me and we have been living like this ever since.
Cut back to the present day
John: This all comes to me as a huge shock, Mom. So, so where is she, Jamie I mean.
Laurie: Well, Michael got her in 1995. I thought I had already messed your life up enough, I didn’t want to mess it up anymore by telling you this, but I knew I couldn’t keep it from you.
Fade to Black
Subtitles: Glensdale California
October 31, 2002
John sits on the couch in his California home next to his wife, Mollie from H20. They are watching the news. The camera pans to show the TV that is showing the ashes of where the Myers house garage once stood.
Reporter (off screen): This is where the brutal killings of tonight came to an end just minutes ago.
John: He struck again; I just can’t believe he struck again.
We see him walk over to a notebook and he opens it. Inside it is listed:
Halloween, 1978, Haddonfield, IL
Halloween, 1988, Haddonfield, IL
Halloween, 1989, Haddonfield, IL
Halloween, 1995, Haddonfield, IL
Halloween, 1998, Glensdale, CA
Halloween, 2001, Grace Anderson Sanitarium. May she rest in peace.
Then we see him write: Halloween, 2002, Haddonfield, IL
Cut to the morgue
We see the man wheel Myers into the autopsy room.
Man: Hey, how’s it going?
Morgue Attendant: You’ve gotta be kidding me, another one?
Man: It’s your lucky night. You got a celebrity.
Morgue Attendant: Let me get my autograph book.
Man: I’m not kidding. It’s Michael Myers.
Morgue Attendant: Wha-
Man: Get me a copy of that autograph.
Morgue Attendant: Yeah, sure.
Man: (Laughs) Cracks me up.
The morgue attendant walks over to the body bag and unzips it carefully. Inside is one of the most horrifying things she had ever seen. It was a man with a partial mask burned to his face and the rest of his body was burned as well. She walks around, studying him closely, and suddenly his eyes open! She screams and jumps away. Myers does his famous power sit and then gets off the table.
The Stalk theme begins to play
The woman struggles to open the door but can’t. Myers grabs one of the various sharp objects on the autopsy table and continues to head toward the woman. She screams but is not heard. Myers then grabs her throat and lifts the knife up and we hear one last scream. Then we see the woman’s body drop to the floor. We hear Myers’ heavy breathing and the Halloween theme begins to play. Myers opens the door, walks down the hall and out the front doors. We see him disappear into the night.

Subtitle: November 1, 2002
Fade into John and Molly sitting at the table eating breakfast.
Molly: Do you actually think he’s dead this time John? I mean, they did wheel him into the morgue. He was burnt pretty badly.
John: To tell you the truth I really don’t know. My mom said he was burnt real badly back in ’78 in the explosion at the hospital.
Molly: Ya, but his doctor, that Loomis guy, survived too. That means it couldn’t have been that bad, if a normal guy lived through it and all. The fire last night was much worse, the whole garage burned to the ground.
John: This guy can take anything Molly. I saw his files from his other attacks. He was shot a couple dozen times with a shotgun, fell down a well, and he still kept coming. My mom stabbed him many times and pushed him off a balcony when he attacked us at school a couple years ago. What did he do? He got right up and kept killing.
John gets up and turns on the TV. The news is on.
Reporter: This is the morgue where they took Michael Myers last night. This is also the scene of another murder. The morgue attendant that was seeing to Michael Myers was killed last night. The body of Myers is nowhere to be found. Everybody in the town and surrounding towns of Haddonfield need to be on high alert. We believe that Michael Myers may still be alive and at large. He is extremely dangerous. We urge you to not be alone today, and do not go out after dark.
John: Shit! The bastard is alive. I knew he wouldn’t die, not that easy. Now he will come for me. He may stay in Haddonfield and have a little “fun” there first, but sooner or later he will come for me. I can’t let that happen. I can’t let him have his “fun.” I have to go to Haddonfield before he comes for me or anyone else. I have to kill Michael once and for all, actually make sure he is dead.
Molly: John, that is suicide. No one has ever been able to stop Michael before.
John: Who cares if it is suicide, Molly? He will get me anyway. I might as well die trying to destroy him and save the lives of a lot of innocent people.
Molly: Then let me come with you. We can both go to Haddonfield. I can help you. We can stop Michael Myers together.
John: Ok, I could use the help anyway. We need to come up with a really good plan and that will take time. It is the day after Halloween, he is not active. He has killed on and a couple of days before Halloween, but never after. I say we take the next year to think and plan, then we go to Haddonfield right before Halloween, we can catch him off guard, when he is thinking about other things, like killing. If we went now he wouldn’t be thinking about anything else, he would be more prepared for an attack from us.
Molly: That’s a good idea John. If we rush this it could spell disaster.
John: Ya, that’s what I mean. That’s why we should wait. Our plan has to be good.
Fade to Black.
Fade into lonely, tree lined, small town street. The road is damp and red leaves are blowing around. Laurie’s theme plays.
Subtitle: Haddonfield, Illinois
October 30, 2004
The camera pans down the street. It passes the Wallace and Doyle house from H1 and after speeding up and turning corners, it passes the Corruthers’ house from H4 and H5. It doesn’t stop when it passes all those houses. Then we see a very familiar house in the distance. The Myers house. The camera stops at it and the Halloween theme plays. We hear Michael’s heavy breathing. The Halloween theme dies down and then the breathing stops.
Cut to Jane Thompson walking down the street. She looks a little nervous, like she is trying to hurry home. She keeps looking around. As she walks by some bushes she hears rustling in them. She speeds up even more but not in time. The Shape lunges out and grabs her around the throat. She screams and kicks him in the crotch. At this point the Shape tears off his mask and starts laughing. Jane turns around to see that it was her friend Peter under the mask.
Jane: Shit Peter, what the hell is your problem?! You don’t fuck around like that in this town, especially with that mask, and so close to Halloween.
Peter: Geez Jane, I’m sorry. I just wanted to have some fun is all. And what do you mean by “especially with this mask?”
Jane: That’s the mask that Michael Myers wears you dickhead. Look Peter, I know you just moved here, but I know you know the town’s history. You should know not to mess around like that.
Peter: Yeah, I know about Myers, but I didn’t know he wore this mask.
He looks at it and shudders.
Peter: Hey Jane, you got to admit it was funny. I had you going.
Jane: No Peter, it wasn’t funny. If someone saw you like that you could really get in trouble, or hurt, or killed.
Peter: Killed? Jane, aren’t you going a little far with that one?
Jane: No Peter. That mask is banned in this town, no one is stupid enough to wear it anymore, so if someone saw you with that on, they could assume it was Myers, and they might shoot you or something. Plus it gives me the creeps. Just take my word for it and don’t wear that thing anymore, ok.
Peter: Ok Jane. You know, you need to lighten up a little bit.
Jane: Peter it’s almost Halloween, and this is Haddonfield. Those two things don’t get along too well. Myers body was never found last year. This town has wised up; even the police actually believe Myers might still be alive. If you lived here when any of the murders happened you’d know how I felt.
Peter: Michael Myers is not alive. How could he have survived that fire? They took him to the morgue last year.
Jane: Ya, and his body was gone almost minutes after he got there, and the girl that was working with him was murdered. Who do you think killed her, and where did Myers’ body go. Answer that Peter.
Peter: I bet there was someone that worked at the morgue that didn’t like that girl and he saw the chance for a perfect murder. Blame it on Myers. He probably killed her, then took Michael’s body and threw it in the river or burned it completely or something like that. Made it look like Michael woke up, killed her and left. Perfect.
Jane: Peter, that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I think you are just scared that he will come back so you are just denying it. You believe he’s alive just like the rest of us.
Peter: That’s not true Jane. I really think he is dead, and I think you should believe it too. It will take a lot of stress off your shoulders. Plus why should he even scare you, why do you think that he would come after you?
Jane: I’m a 17-year-old girl and I’m babysitting this Halloween. That’s a pretty good reason.
Peter: Ya, but you’re not family.
Jane: He’s fooled around with more than just his family before Peter. When Halloween rolls around he will come out and kill, family or not.
They walk in silence for a while.
Jane: Well, home sweet home, thanks for walking me home Peter.
Peter: Bye Jane.
Peter walks away and heads for home. We see that he now has an uneasy feeling. He keeps glancing around. He lives down the street from the Myers house and has to pass it to get home. When he gets to it he stops and looks at it. He quickly turns to cross the street. When his back turns we see The Shape in the upper right hand window looking down at Peter.
Cut to shot over Myers’ shoulder. We hear his heavy breathing. We can see the partial burnt mask is still on his face. He watches Peter cross the street. Then Myers’ shoulder leaves the frame, the Shape has left the room.
Cut back to Peter. He takes another look at the house from across the street. He turns back around. He walks a couple more yards then crosses the street to get to his house. The camera is behind Peter and it slowly pans around to the front of him. Behind him we see The Shape next to a bush, just watching Peter. He steps behind the bush just as Peter turns around to take one last look at the Myers’ house down the street. He walks up the front steps to his porch, takes out his house key and unlocks the front door and goes in. He shuts the door and doesn’t lock it. His house is empty.
Peter: Mom! Dad! Is anyone here?
It is silent for a few moments.
Peter (to himself): Hmm, I guess not.
He goes up the stairs and turns right and goes down the hall. He opens the door at the very end, his room. He throws his mask onto his bed.
Cut to the Shape’s POV from outside. We hear his heavy breathing. We are looking up into Peter’s room. Peter is on his computer.

Cut back to Peter’s room. He is checking his email. He sees one that is from his friend Mitch. He opens it.
Peter (Reading to himself): Hey Peter, I will be out of town for the next couple of days. I get back the day after Halloween. So if you call and I don’t answer, now you know why. See ya later.
He has no more emails. He shuts off his computer.
Cut to Myers’ POV. We see Peter leave the room. We walk around the house to the kitchen window just in time to see Peter get to the bottom stair. He turns and comes into the kitchen. We step to the side so we’re not seen.
Cut to inside Peter’s house. He walks over to the fridge. He pulls out some bologna, cheese, and mustard. He goes over to the counter and starts making his sandwich. He stops when he hears a creaking behind him. He turns and looks. The front door is just barely cracked open.
Peter: Shit! Jane, is that you? Don’t scare me like this; I’m not in the mood.
Cut to Peter’s room. We see Myers’ hand grab Peter’s mask off the bed. Michael’s old burnt one then falls onto the bed and the camera pans up to show Myers’ pulling the new one over his head. We catch just a glimpse of some of the scaring on his lower face and neck.
Cut to Peter in the kitchen. He is sure that Jane wouldn’t scare him like this, so he assumes that he left the front door open. He goes back to making his sandwich. He hears rustling upstairs and stops.
Peter: Ok Jane, who is upstairs and who I can hear, you can stop being funny.
We see the uneasiness in his face, he is getting scared. He starts to go for the front door and when he gets there he stops.
Peter (to himself): No, I won’t leave. Two can play this game. I’ll give her a taste of her own medicine.
He goes towards the stairs and stops. He takes a deep breath and then continues to go upstairs. He turns right and goes to his room, making sure nobody is in it before entering. He goes to get the mask off his bed and sees the burnt one.
Peter: What the hell happened to this? This isn’t mine.
Now Peter is really getting scared. He remembers that Michael was burned last year, and this mask looked just like the one he saw on the news when they showed the burnt Michael. Peter is now very scared so he runs as fast as he can down the hall and down the stairs. He runs toward the front door, opens it, and runs into Michael, who was standing there waiting.
Peter: Fuck! What the hell man, this isn’t funny anymore. Give me my mask back. You scared me now it’s over.
Michael just stares at Peter. Peter starts to back away and Michael moves towards him. He raises his knife.
Peter: Shit Jane that is a real knife. Don’t mess around with it.
Michael continues towards Peter. Peter decides this isn’t right so he turns around and runs. He goes through the kitchen and to the basement stairs. Michael is just turning the corner out of the kitchen. The stalk theme plays. Peter runs down the stairs and when he gets to the bottom he goes to the nearest window. He tries to open it but he can’t. He hears Michael coming down the stairs so he tries one last time. It opens but not all the way. He can’t fit through the opening. He goes to the cupboard next to the washing machine and hides in there. Michael steps onto the bottom stair. The stalk theme stops. He looks around for a second then sees the open window. He walks over to it. He knows Peter could not have fit through the small opening. He looks around the room and flips things over, opens doors; he is determined to find Peter.
Cut to inside the cupboard with Peter. He is watching out of a crack in the door. He grabs a pipe that is lying next to him in the cupboard. He sees Michael coming towards the cupboard.
Cut back to the room with Michael. He bends down to open the cupboard and when he does Peter jumps out and hits him in the head with the pipe. Michael is dazed but only for a second. Not enough time for Peter to get away. Michael grabs Peter around the throat and cuts it. It is a deep, fatal cut. The Halloween theme plays. Peter drops to the floor. We see Michael bend down and drag Peter away. Halloween theme fades away.
Cut to John and Molly pulling up to the Haddonfield Inn in their Ford Escort. John steps out of the driver’s side, walks to the trunk and grabs some luggage. Molly goes in and John is right behind her.
Molly: This place is a dump.
John: Aw Molly, it isn’t so bad. You’ll just have to get used to it.
Molly rings the bell for service. The desk clerk, an old dusty man, walks out from a dark room behind the counter.
Desk Clerk: What can I do for you two?
John: We need a room for a couple of nights.
Desk Clerk: Ok, just take the key and I’ll charge you 20 bucks a night till you give it back. That’s easy enough isn’t it?
John: Ya, that’ll be great. Thanks.
The room number on the key is 68. They go down the hall all the way. 68 is the last door on the right. They open it up. It is a very small room with a bed and a TV. They walk in and set all their stuff by the door. John goes over and looks out the window while Molly goes and sits on the bed.
John: Well, we’re here. Now we just need to know where to start.
Molly: Maybe we should go to his house. You know, look around a little.
John: Ya, I think that would be a great place to start. Lets rest a little bit and then we’ll go.

Cut to Jane and her friend Michelle talking. They are in Jane’s house; it is evening time so it’s starting to get dark out.
Jane: So who all is coming to this party?
Michelle: Lots of people. Mitch isn’t coming, he’s out of town, but Jordan Hemsley will be there.
She gives Jane a funny look.
Jane: Shut up.
Michelle: We all know you like him; you just need to talk to him. It’ll be easy; I’ll go with you.
Jane: I dunno, maybe I will.
Michelle: Oh, you will.
Jane: Ok whatever. Anyway, do you really think it’s a good idea for us to baby-sit this Halloween? I mean, Halloween and babysitting don’t go together too well in this town.
Michelle: Oh, come on Jane. You aren’t scared of the Boogeyman are you?
Jane: Michelle, you never know.
Michelle: Just lighten up, it’ll be fine.
Jane: Ya, I guess your right.
They continue to get ready for the party.
Cut to outside of Jane’s house. It is dark out and the streetlights are on. Jane’s front door opens and the two girls exit the house. Laurie’s theme plays as they walk down the street.
Jane: So, who do you have your eye on?
Michelle: I dunno. I’ll find someone at the party. There are plenty of horny guys there that want to get laid.
Jane (laughing): Ya. It should be easy.
They come to a house with loud music coming from inside. They go up the sidewalk and to the front door. Jane rings the doorbell. After a couple of seconds the door opens. It is a party guest.
Guest: Hey girls, come on in.
Cut to John and Molly driving around Haddonfield. They come to a street that says Lampkin Lane.
Cut to interior of car.
John: This is the street.
He waits for a car to go by then he makes the left turn onto Lampkin Lane. We notice that they drive by Peter’s house, which is curiously dark.
Molly: There it is.
John stops the car right in front of the Myers’ house.
Cut to over Myers shoulder interior of the house. He is looking out the front window at the car parked in the street. He doesn’t recognize who is in the car.
Cut to interior of the car.
John: I’m going to get out and check it out a little bit.
Cut back to over Myers’ shoulder. We can hear his heavy breathing. He can now recognize John. He walks over to the counter and picks up a huge knife that was sitting there. It has blood on it from when Michael killed Peter. He walks back over to the window just in time to see John getting in his car. He walks outside and watches John start the car and drive away into the night.
Cut to Jane and Michelle at the party. They are sitting on a couch talking.
Michelle: Look Jane, there’s Jordan. You should talk to him.
Jane: Michelle…
Michelle: Come on Jane. Just get up and say hi to him or something. Lets go
Michelle grabs Jane’s hand and gets up off the couch. She walks toward Jordan.
Jane: Michelle!
Michelle: It’ll be fine Jane.
They get over to Jordan.
Michelle: Well, here’s your chance.
She pushes Jane towards him.
Jane: Um, hey Jordan.
Jordan: Oh, hi Jane. What’s up?
Jane: Not much. Just enjoying the party. So, when did you get here?
Jordan: About 20 minutes ago.
Jane: Cool.
Right then a slow song comes on.
Jordan: Hey, do you want to dance Jane?
Jane: Yes, I’d love to.
The song plays on and most people are dancing. We see a Shape outside the window, behind Jordan and Jane. It looks like a man watching. A dancing couple sweeps in front of the camera and when they leave the frame the Shape is gone. Now the song is ending.
Jane: Thanks Jordan, that was great.
Jordan: How ‘bout we go over to the couch and talk some more.
Jane: Ok.
They walk through the people and get to the couch.
Jane: So, what are you doing on Halloween?
Jordan: Actually, I have to baby-sit the little Johnson kids. So I can’t do anything.
Jane: No, actually that’ll be great. I’m baby-sitting the Stevenson boy, it’s right across the street. We could keep each other company.
Jordan: Sounds good.
Right then Michelle comes walking up.
Michelle: I hate to interrupt you two lovers, but Jane, it’s 12 and we have to go.
Jane: All right. Jordan, what’s your number, I’ll call you.
He writes it down and hands it to Jane.
Jane: Thanks, bye.
Jordan: Bye Jane.
Jane and Michelle walk out side. They are walking down the almost deserted night streets.
Cut to Myers POV through bushes. We are watching the two girls walk home. They leave our view behind some bushes so we walk out and carefully follow them.
Cut to shot of the girls walking towards the camera. Behind them we see the Shape’s white mask in the bushes, watching. Then it disappears.

Cut to Jane and Michelle sitting on the couch at Jane’s house. The TV is on and they are talking.
Michelle: So, you and Jordan really hit it off huh? You got his number.
Jane: Ya, he’s great. I really like him.
Michelle: See Jane, now your glad I made you talk to him.
Jane: You didn’t make me, Michelle. I would of done it without your help.
Michelle: Oh ya, when? Jane, you never talk to guys.
Jane: That’s beside the point. I talked to him tonight and now we like each other, that’s all that matters. You know, he’s babysitting Ken Johnson right across the street from us on Halloween. Maybe we could all arrange something so we could hang out, since you’re babysitting the McDermott’s next door to me. Little Tyler Stevenson is friends with Bobby McDermott and Ken Johnson.
Michelle: That would be great. I was in for a dull Halloween this year. This will definitely spice it up a bit.
Right then the Shape appears in the window in the kitchen behind the two girls. He just stands there and watches them. Jane gets up.
Jane: I’m gonna go to the kitchen to get a snack, you want something?
Michelle: No, I’m good.
When Jane turns around we see the Shape is gone from the window. She walks into the kitchen and goes to the cupboard. Behind her we see the Shape appear in another window. Jane grabs some chips out of the cupboard. She walks over to another cupboard to get a bowl, and her body completely hides the window for a second or two. She gets to the cupboard and the window is visible again. The Shape is in it, watching her. Jane fills the bowl with chips. We still see the Shape in the window. Jane walks back to the living room, blocking our view of the window again. When the window comes back into view, the Shape is gone.
Cut to The Haddonfield Inn.
Subtitle: October 31
Halloween
It is morning. The camera pans down from the Inn’s sign. The trees across the street are moving violently. It is a gray, windy day. The roads are slightly damp from a rain the night before. Leaves blow around in the parking lot.
Cut to inside John and Molly’s room. They are looking through books and folders on Michael Myers. It seems like they have been planning for a while. We join them in the middle of their conversation.
John: …it’s an old fashioned stakeout. We wait at his house till he comes home. I was reading some files of what happened to him throughout the years. I saw that back in ’89 Loomis and the cops set a trap for him in his own home. It worked but they made one mistake: they didn’t kill him when they had the chance. They took him to jail. That gave me the idea to do kind of the same thing. First we go out and find him, hopefully before he does any damage. Then we lure him to his house where we have a trap set. Then we catch him and kill him. And we kill him in a way that we can be sure he is dead. The key thing will be the trap though. It has to be effective or we won’t be able to even get close enough to kill him. We need to completely cut off all his movement so he would pose no immediate threat. This guy isn’t exactly easy to deal with.
They continue to look through files and papers. Molly finds something that interests her.
Molly: Man this guy was sick wasn’t he?
John: What?
Molly: It says that he went after his 10-year-old niece…
John gets an uneasy look on his face.
Molly: Wait a minute, niece? If she was his niece, then she was also…
John: Yes, I know Molly. She was my sister. Well half sister really, same mom, different dad.
Molly: When were you planning on telling me this John?
John: I was going to tell you sometime, I just wasn’t ready to talk about it yet. Look can we please just get back to researching and not talk about this right now. I really don’t feel comfortable.
Molly: Ok John.
Cut to Jane walking up the stairs of her house. She is all alone. When she gets halfway up she hears somebody upstairs. She stops. Then she continues to go up the stairs. She turns left and goes to her room at the end of the hall. The camera is in front of her and we see the Shape’s white mask come out of the darkness of the room behind her. She opens the door to her room…nothing. She walks in and goes to her closet. When she opens it the Shape jumps out and grabs her. She gets free and opens the door to leave her room. The Shape is standing right there. She runs around him and gets to the stairs. He is now coming up the stairs. She turns around and there he is again… and then she wakes up screaming, drenched with sweat. Michelle is on Jane’s couch.
Michelle: Jane, what’s wrong?
Jane: Just a bad dream.
Michelle: Well now I’m awake so I guess I’ll get up.
Jane: Ya, me too.
She gets out of bed.
Cut to downstairs in the kitchen of Jane’s house. Jane and Michelle are sitting at the table with bowls of cereal in front of them.
Michelle: Man I’m glad Halloween is on a Saturday this year. You should hang out with Jordan today.
Jane: He won’t be home till 9. Then he’s got to baby sit. We might get together then.
Michelle: Oh good, so I get to stand around and listen to you two fool around.
Jane just gives Michelle a stupid look.
Jane: You could call Brody and see if he can do anything.
Michelle: Brody’s an asshole. I am not going to hang out with him.
Jane: All right, fine then.
Cut to a lady in her driveway. She is getting groceries out of the back of her red station wagon.
Cut to Myers POV shot through the trees. We hear his heavy breathing.
Cut back to the lady. She takes in the last of her groceries.
Cut to the interior of her car. We see that she left her keys in the ignition.
Cut back to Myers POV. We are walking out of the trees towards the car.
Cut to the inside of the lady’s house. The camera is in front of her and she has her back to the window. We hear the car start. Out the window we see it start to back out. The lady turns around in time to see her car going down the street. She runs for the phone and dials 9-1-1.

Cut back to Jane’s house. Jane and Michelle are just about to leave the house. They walk out the front door. As they are walking down Jane’s driveway we see a red station wagon turn the corner and start to come down the street from the left. Jane and Michelle turn right off the driveway and start to walk down the sidewalk. The station wagon slows down as it passes. It stays with the girls for a few seconds then speeds up and drives away.
Jane: What the hell was that all about?
Michelle: I don’t know. I wonder who it was.
Laurie’s theme plays. The girls keep walking. The camera stays in one place as the girls walk away from it. We can hear them talking but we can’t hear what they are saying. Laurie’s theme fades away.
Cut to the Haddonfield Inn. A blue car pulls into the parking lot. The door opens on the driver’s side and Tommy Doyle steps out. Kara gets out of the passenger side.
Cut to John and Molly’s room. John is looking out the window.
John: Hmm, somebody else is here.
Cut to the lobby. Tommy has just gotten his key. He starts to walk down the hall, Kara behind him. We see the door to John’s room open down the hall. John steps out and walks down the hall. He waves to Tommy as he walks by. Tommy stops and turns around.
Tommy: Excuse me, sir.
John: Yes?
Tommy: Aren’t you, um, aren’t you John Tate?
John: Yes. And you are?
Tommy: Tommy, Tommy Doyle.
John: You mean, the Tommy Doyle. The kid my mom baby-sat back in 1978?
Tommy: Ya. John, why are you here? You’re not safe here. Michael is still alive. You have to leave.
John: I can’t leave. I’m here to stop Michael for good. I suppose you are trying to do the same?
Tommy: Yes. My whole family is obsessed with trying to stop Myers. Kara and I have come to this hotel for the past 3 years, tried to find a way to stop him. You know what, why don’t you come into my room and we can talk.
John: Ya, sure.
Cut to inside Tommy’s room. It looks just like John and Molly’s room. John, Molly, Kara, and Tommy sit on the beds talking. We join them in the middle of the conversation.
John: …Our idea is to set a trap for him in his own home.
Tommy: That plan failed when they tried it back in ’89.
John: It failed only for one reason, they didn’t kill him. They took him to jail. The dumb asses took him to jail. We will kill him the first chance we get.
Tommy: Ok, so we kill him. But, how are we going to be able to be in his house long enough to set the trap without him noticing? If he sees us, he will never stop tracking us down. Especially you John, you’re family.
John: It’s Halloween; he will be out doing his business. We need someone to follow him while he goes out, so we can distract him before he makes any kills, but make sure he is out long enough for us to set the trap.
Tommy: Look, this isn’t going to be a walk in the park. He is totally unstoppable.
Cut to flashback
Tommy (voiceover): Many people believe that Michael was cursed when he was six years old. But that’s not true. Back sometime between 1988 and 1989 when Michael was in a coma he was discovered in a shack down by the river by an ancient druid cult. They knew who he was, and they knew his power. Their “tribe” was in danger and in order to save them, they needed to curse someone with the thorn. Now if you are cursed with the thorn you will kill all your blood relatives until they are gone. Michael was already trying to do that so they thought it wouldn’t be so tough. So he was “cursed”, and taken “control” of by the cult. Finally in 1995 the “curse” was lifted. When the curse is lifted you are supposed to go back to a normal existence, no killing. Well Michael didn’t, and that just shows you how powerful he is. Perhaps the thorn cult just made him more powerful by helping him to kill his family for six years. No one knows. But Michael has been free, has had nothing to do with thorn for nine years, and he is still killing.
Cut back to the present.
Tommy: So even the cult that somewhat had control over Michael couldn’t stop him, so just keep in mind that this won’t be easy.
John: Look, I know this won’t be easy. You aren’t stopping me from going through with it though. Whether you and Kara want to help is up to you, but I’m doing this.
Kara: Of course we’re helping.
Tommy: Oh yes, we are helping, I was just warning you.
John: All right, lets get to work on this plan; we only have about five hours of daylight left.
Cut to interior of Michael’s red station wagon. We hear his deep, heavy breathing. Out the windshield we see the Haddonfield Inn sign come into view. Michael starts to drive by the Hotel, but then he looks out the window and sees John’s Ford Escort parked in the parking lot. Michael pulls into the parking lot and stops for a minute.
Cut to the inside of Tommy’s room. John gets up and looks out the window when he hears the car outside.
Cut to Myers POV out of the car windshield. We see the curtains move back in one of the rooms and we recognize John looking out the window.
Cut back to Tommy’s room. John thinks nothing of the red station wagon parked outside so he goes back to the bed to keep talking with the others.

Cut to Jane and Michelle at an ice cream shop. We can see that they are about done eating their ice cream cones. They are sitting at a table by the window, talking.
Michelle: So, are you gonna kiss Jordan tonight.
Jane: I dunno, probably. Why?
Michelle: I don’t know, I was just wondering, curious I guess.
Jane takes the last bite of her ice cream.
Jane: Well, I’m done.
We see the red station wagon come by the ice cream shop. It slows down as it passes by the window that the girls are sitting by. They don’t notice. It lingers for a couple of seconds then speeds up and drives away. Michelle takes the last bite of her ice cream now.
Michelle: Well, lets go.
Jane: Ok.
They get up and walk towards the doors. They turn left out of them and start to walk down the sidewalk. Behind them we see Michael’s red station wagon start up and start following them. There is hardly anyone else on the streets so Michael can drive slowly without being noticed. He keeps his distance so the girls won’t notice him. Michelle drops her sunglasses.
Michelle: Jane wait.
Jane turns around when she hears Michelle. She sees the red car.
Jane: Michelle, look. That’s the car that passed us earlier when we were leaving my house. You know, that one that slowed down.
Michelle turns around and sees it.
Michelle: Are you sure?
Jane: Ya, that’s definitely it, he’s following us.
Michelle: Who the hell is it?
Jane: I don’t know.
Michael notices that he has been seen, so he speeds up and drives past them.
Michelle: Probably just someone from school playing a Halloween prank on us.
Jane: Ya, you’re probably right. Lets go.
They keep walking until they reach Jane’s house.
Michelle: Well, I have to go get ready for babysitting tonight.
Jane: Ya me too. So I’ll pick you up around 7.
Michelle: Yep sounds good. Bye.
Jane: See ya.
Michelle walks away toward her house. Jane goes up her driveway to her front door. She goes inside and up the stairs to her room. She walks by the window to get to her closet. As she passes the window something catches her eye so she stops. She turns around to look out the window. Down in the trees The Shape is staring up at her. She jumps back.
Jane (yelling, but to herself): Fuck, Peter!
She runs out of her room and down the stairs and out the front door. She turns and goes across the front lawn to the trees.
Jane: Peter! I told you not to…Peter, where are you.
No one is in the trees.
Jane: Peter, wherever you are, you told me you wouldn’t scare me anymore. You know how I am around Halloween. Peter answer me. Damn it Peter!
Jane madly stomps back inside.
Jane (to herself): God, I’m gonna kill that kid.
She walks into the living room over to the phone. She picks it up and dials. It rings twice.
Michelle (voice only): Hello.
Jane: Hey, it’s Jane.
Michelle (voice): Hey.
Jane: Look; I know who was following us in that stupid car today. I’m pretty sure it was Peter.
Michelle (voice): How do you know?
Jane: He was at my house just a second ago trying to scare me.
Just then The Shape appears in the window behind Jane.
Jane: He did it a couple days ago too. So if you see a guy in a white mask outside your house, don’t be scared, it’s just Peter.
Michelle (voice): All right. So, are you going to wear anything special for Jordan tonight?
Jane walks into the other room. The window with the Shape in it goes out of view.
Jane: I don’t know, maybe I’ll just wear lingerie and crotch less panties. (Laughs)
Michelle (voice): I’ll take that as a no.
Jane walks back into the living room. As the window comes back into view, we see that The Shape is gone.
Jane: I don’t need to get all dressed up. All we’re going to do is hang out while we’re babysitting. It’s not like we’re going to some fancy restaurant. So are you having anyone over?
Michelle (voice): Nope, it’s just us three I guess. Plus the kids.
Jane: So no Brody? (Laughs)
Michelle (voice): Ugh, Jane don’t get me started on Brody again. He is a complete idiot. I hate him.
Jane: Alright, alright.
Michelle (voice): Well, I gotta go now.
Jane: Ok, see you at 7.
Michelle (voice): Ok. Bye.
Jane: Bye.
Jane hangs up the phone. She walks out of the living room and goes up the stairs to her room. She goes over to her dresser.
Jane (to herself): What should I wear tonight?
She opens her drawer. She pulls out a little black thong.
Jane: Perfect. (Laughs).
She throws it on her bed.

09-20-2004, 04:09 PM
Cut to the outside of Jane’s house. It is evening time, around 7:00. It is getting dark. Jane is backing her car out of the driveway. She gets to the road and turns and goes to the right. The camera pans around to the front of the car. Behind her we see the headlights of a car come on. It is Michael’s red station wagon. He follows her from a safe distance away. We follow Jane for about a minute on her drive to Michelle’s house. Michael is behind her the whole time and she doesn’t notice. Jane pulls up in front of Michelle’s house. Michael parks two houses down. Jane honks.
Cut to inside Michelle’s room. She is wearing just pants and a bra. She opens the window and yells down to Jane.
Michelle (yelling): I’ll be down in a second.
Jane (yelling back): Ok.
Michelle takes off her bra. She goes over to her dresser and takes out another one. She puts it on, then takes a shirt off her bed and puts that on. She runs down the stairs. She goes out the front door. She notices the red station wagon two houses down and stops.
Jane: Hurry up Michelle, we’re already late.
Michelle starts walking to the car again. She doesn’t mention anything about the station wagon to Jane.
They start to drive away. It is getting dark out now. Michael starts to follow them again when they get a good distance ahead of him. About a minute later they reach the Stevenson house, the house of the kid Jane is babysitting. The McDermott’s house is next door. Jane parks the car in between the two houses. They both get out. Michael parks his car three houses down.
Michelle: Well, I guess I’ll talk to you later tonight.
Jane: Ya, Jordan will be across the street at around 9 o’clock, and he’s gonna call me about a half hour after that. So I’ll call you then.
Michelle: Ok, bye.
Jane: Bye.
The both walk to the houses. We follow Jane up to the Stevenson house. She rings the doorbell. We can see the Shape standing by a tree across the street. Someone opens the door.
Mrs. Stevenson: Oh, hello Jane. Come in dear.
Jane: Thank you Mrs. Stevenson.
Mrs. Stevenson: David, come on, Jane’s here, we can go now.
David Stevenson comes downstairs.
David: Hello Jane. Have fun with Tyler. Make sure he is in bed by 10.
Jane: Ok Mr. Stevenson.
David and his wife leave. Tyler comes into the front room.
Tyler: Hi Jane!
Jane: Hey little buddy, what have you been up to.
Tyler: Not much. Are we gonna have fun tonight?
Jane: You bet. Do you want to make a Jack O’ Lantern?
Tyler: Ya!
Jane: Ok.
Cut to the Haddonfield Inn. John, Molly, Tommy, and Kara are just leaving.
Tommy: …So you’ll meet us outside the Myers’ house after you do a quick search of the town?
John: Ya, it should only take us ten minutes or so. We’ll just look for any suspicious activity.
Tommy: Ok.
They split up and go to their cars. We follow John to his. When he gets there he sees that all the tires have been slashed.
John: Shit! Tommy, wait.
Tommy comes over.
John: He knows I’m here. He must have seen me when we went to his house earlier.
Tommy: This is very dangerous for you. You should really watch your back tonight.
John: Shit, this is not good. He’s probably waiting for me at his damn house. But I’m ready. Lets go.
They all go over to Tommy’s car and get in. They drive away.

My opinoin is that Halloween H20 should of never existed they should of kept going from pt 6 . In pt 6 they left us with an ending of Dr. Loomis screaming hinting that Michael Myers is alive ......then next Halloween that is made is H20 which disregards anything that happened through 4-6. And nowadays the use crappy actors like LL cool J and Bustah Rhymes ....i guess thats "gangster" . now unless NMyers89's script gets produced it would be a good Halloween ......if not its just going to be another bad acting teenager film.......

Plus I have had less writing time since school started, but I'm still working on it, so it will be done someday.:)

Here's a tiny bit more, not much but hey its something.
Cut to Jane and Tyler sitting on the couch watching a movie. The movie is Dawn of the Dead. Jane grabs the remote and flips the TV off.
Jane: This movie is way too violent for you Tyler.
Tyler: Jane please let me watch it. My parents will never know.
Jane: But if they did find out they would kill me, so no zombies tonight.
Tyler: Ok then. Can we make the Jack O’ Lantern now?
Jane: Ya. Lets go
As they walk into the kitchen the camera pans around to show the Shape standing in the living room window watching Jane and Tyler.
Cut back into the kitchen with Jane and Tyler.
Jane: You grab the pumpkin off the table and bring it here.
Tyler goes over, grabs the pumpkin, and sets it on the counter next to Jane.

Here is a little more. I am slowly but surely finishing this, so someday it will be done. And please, please, please post comments. I want to know if I am doing ok, or if it sucks and only I like it.
Cut to the McDermott house where Michelle is babysitting. Michelle is in the kitchen making popcorn. In the big window behind her we see the Shape appear, watching her every move. Michelle turns around just in time to see him move.
Michelle: Peter? Peter I know it’s you, Jane already told me that you were dressed like that.
She looks out the window and sees no sign of him.
Michelle: Bobby, I’m going outside for one quick second, you stay in here ok.
Cut to Bobby in the living room glued to the TV. He doesn’t answer.
Michelle: Bobby, answer me. Bobby!
Bobby: I heard you! I’m watching a movie in here, be quiet.
Michelle (to herself): What a little brat.
She walks outside. She sees some rustling in the bushes to her left.
Michelle: Peter, I just saw you. Peter! This isn’t funny anymore. You know, you really made Jane mad when you scared her again, you should really stop it.
She looks up to see the Shape walking next door. She hurries inside, grabs the phone. After two rings:
Jane: Hello, this is the Stevenson residence.
Michelle: Hey this is Michelle.
Jane: Oh hey, what are you doing?
Michelle: Well, I just saw Peter in that stupid costume. I tried to talk to him but he just ignored me and made his way over there. So be ready.
Jane: God Damn I hate him. He said he wouldn’t scare me anymore, now he has done it two more times. You know, he’s going to get hurt in that costume, especially on Halloween.
Michelle: I know. He’s an idiot. I say we just ignore him and he will probably stop.
Jane: Ya, well I gotta go now, Tyler wants to finish the Jack O’ Lantern so he can see “The Haunting” on TV.
Michelle: Ok, well I see you later then.
Jane: Bye.
When Jane hangs the phone up we see the Shape in the window behind her. She leaves the room, and the Shape watches her, and then walks away.
Cut to Jane and Tyler in the kitchen. They are just starting to carve the eyes in their pumpkin. Out the window we see a car pull into a driveway across the street. Jane looks up. It is Jordan who gets out of the car.

Here is the real script in MS word. It might be easier to read rather than scrolling through posts with the orange background and such.
EDIT: EW, I didn't know saving it as text only made look like that. Ugh, I'll try something else.
EDIT AGAIN: Does it work now? When I do it, it shows it in real form, its just in NotePad and not Word. If it works I suggest reading it there, much easier.
ONE MORE DAMN EDIT: I got rid of the downloads because I have written more after that and I can't edit it into those so just screw it, I'll do it when its done.
MMyers89
11-01-2004, 03:39 PM
Here it is again (hopefully it looks better this time)
EDIT: ok, how do I save it as a file for people to download, without having to make it text only, which makes it even harder to read?
EDIT AGAIN: This one works now too (at least on my computer it does) Its still in NotePad but its better than scrolling through posts.
I deleted this one too. Same reason.

Ya, some of the dialogue is just downright bad in some places, but in some parts I think I did a decent job. I'm just not much of a dialogue writer. I try to think of how me and my friends talk, so some of the scenes should be sort of good, but others are just plain hard to think of realistic things for them to say. Glad you like it, I have written more and I will have it posted soon so you, and everyone can (I hope) enjoy it.

What I do is act the scenes out most of the time and I end up eventually writing 80% of what I did down. I don't know what it is, but I usually have pretty good dialogue. I'm the man. You just have to...work it out.

I usually try to act them out in my head, but some are just weird, like I don't really know how it would play out in reality, so I can't act it. And yes, you do have good dialogue most of the time.

Here is some more
Here is a recap of the end of the last post, so you don't get confused: Cut to Jane and Tyler in the kitchen. They are just starting to carve the eyes in their pumpkin. Out the window we see a car pull into a driveway across the street. Jane looks up. It is Jordan who gets out of the car.
Here is the new stuff: Jane gets a smile on her face when she sees him. Tyler is starting to carve the nose in the Jack O’ Lantern.
Tyler: Jane, will you help me with the mouth, that’s the hard part.
Jane: Sure thing little buddy. Here, this is how you do it.
She cuts straight from the nose and starts to cut out the mouth. We notice it is extremely similar to the pumpkin in the opening credits of H1. Finally Jane is done with the mouth, the Jack O’ Lantern is complete.
Jane: There, how does that look?
Tyler: Wow, it’s great Jane. Lets go out put it outside now so everyone can see it.
Jane: Ok.
Jane picks up the pumpkin, walks over to the front door and opens it. She is face to face with… a little girl dressed as a princess.
Little Girl: Trick or Treat!
Jane: Oh, what a great costume, you are a beautiful princess. Tyler, will you bring the candy over here and give some to this beautiful young princess?
Jane sets the pumpkin down on the edge of the porch and Tyler comes to the door with a bowl of candy. He takes out three pieces and gives them to the little girl.
Little Girl: Thank you.
Jane: Happy Halloween.
The little girl walks to the end of the driveway where she meets her parents. They walk away.
Jane: There, is that a good spot for the pumpkin Tyler?
Tyler: Ya, its perfect. Now everyone that comes up here will see it.
Jane: Ok, lets go in then, it’s getting cold out here.
Tyler and Jane turn and go in the house. When they shut the door the Shape’s shoulder comes into frame. We can hear his breathing. We follow over his shoulder as he walks over to the living room window and looks in on Jane and Tyler sitting on the couch. We then follow him next door as he goes up to the living room window, where Michelle and Bobby are also sitting on the couch.
Cut to John, Molly, Kara, and Tommy. They are in the car and Tommy is driving. The drive around in silence for a few seconds, all of them looking around.
Tommy: We have nothing to go by. I mean, what are we looking for? Its not like he leaves a trail of breadcrumbs wherever he goes.
John: I dunno, just anything suspicious, people running, asking for help. There is also an off chance that we spot him.
They turn the corner onto the street where Jane, Michelle, and Jordan are babysitting.
John: Stop! Look, right there!
He points out the right side of the car and we see a girl running from out of the trees, screaming. Then a man in a mask jumps out and scares her and she screams one last time, then starts laughing. The man takes off his mask and appears to be the girl’s boyfriend, because he gives her a kiss, then they start walking together.
John: Damn it! What was I thinking, people are going to be running around and screaming all over town, it’s Halloween. Lets just get back to the house and wait there. He will come home.
Cut to Myers POV from the trees on the left side of the street, looking at the car pass by. We can recognize everyone in the car.

Like I said, I'm not sure what I am going to do with him. When I do come to a decision as what to do, I'm going to keep it a secret anyways, so I don't ruin it. And yes, I'll send it to you too.

Here is some more of the script. Its not much, but hey, its something.
Cut to Jane and Tyler sitting on the couch. They are staring at the TV. After a couple of seconds Jane gets up and walks around the couch to the phone. She picks it up and dials. After three rings:
Jordan (Voice only): Hello, this is the Johnson residence.
Jane: Hey Jordan, It’s Jane.
Jordan (V.O): Oh hey Jane, what’s up?
Jane: Just having loads of fun babysitting.
Jordan (V.O): Well why don’t you come on over here, Michelle can come too if she wants.
Jane: Ok, I’ll be over in just a sec then.
Jordan (V.O): Sounds good. See ya later.
Jane: See ya.
She hangs up the phone.
Jane: Hey Tyler, do you want to go over to Ken’s house and play with him for a while.
Tyler: Ya!
Jane: Ok, then lets go. We have to stop next door, Bobby is going over too.
Tyler: Ok.
Cut to shot over Myers’ shoulder. The front door opens and Jane and Tyler step out. Jane shuts the front door. They make their way across the front lawn over to the McDermott house. The shot stays over Myers’ shoulder as he moves into some nearby bushes to keep cover. He is still watching Jane. Jane rings the doorbell and after a second or two Michelle answers.
Cut to Shot over Michelle’s shoulder. The Shape is just barely visible in the right of the frame.
Michelle: Hey Jane.
Jane: Hey, we’re going over to Jordan’s, you ready to come now?
Michelle: Yep, it’s pretty much a bore-fest here.
Jane: Ok, lets go.
Michelle (yelling): Bobby, come on, we’re going over to Ken’s house.
Bobby: Yay!
He comes running into the doorway.
Cut back to over Myers’ shoulder as the group crosses the street. Myers moves onto the sidewalk directly behind the group and just watches.
Cut to inside the Johnson house where Jordan is babysitting. The doorbell rings. Jordan walks into frame and answers the door.
Jordan: Oh hey guys, come on in.
Tyler and Bobby run into the living room to find Ken.
Michelle: I’ll go in and watch the kids.
She leaves the entryway and disappears into the living room.
Jordan: So, how have you been doing, Jane?
Jane: Good, babysitting is kinda boring though, so I’m glad we could do this tonight.
Jordan: Ya, me too.
There is an awkward silence between the two then:
Michelle: Hey you guys, we need you in here. We are going to play a game.
Jordan: Well, lets go then.
They both walk into the living room.
Tyler: Hey guys, we are gonna play hide and seek. 1, 2, 3, NOT IT!
Jane, Jordan, Michelle, and Bobby (Together): NOT IT!
Ken: NOT IT!
Bobby: Oh, Ken, you’re it.
Ken: Oh man!
Tyler: Ok we can go anywhere in the house and the backyard, but don’t pass the gates in the backyard.
Jane: Ok, Ken you start counting to 50 and we’ll all hide.
Ken: Ok.
He turns around and leans against the wall.
Ken: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Everyone turns and runs in different directions. Michelle follows the kids and Jane and Jordan run upstairs together. Michelle and the kids go out into the backyard. They go over to the far left of the patio and hide in the big tool shed behind some rakes and brooms.
Cut back to the inside of the house.
Ken: …49, 50. Ready or not, here I come!
Cut to the upstairs closet in which Jane and Jordan are hiding. Jane leans up against Jordan, and he puts his arm around her. He leans down and starts to kiss Jane. Jane leans down, and Jordan gets on top of her. They keep on kissing as they lay down. Then we hear footsteps on the stairs. Jane gets up.
Jane (whispering): Listen, he’s coming.
She leans forward and looks out of the crack in between the two doors.
Cut to her POV as she looks out of the crack. Standing at the top of the stairs is The Shape staring back at her.
End POV. She jumps back.
Jane (whispering): Shit, that isn’t Ken out there.
Jordan (whispering): What?
Cut to Jordan’s POV. He looks out of the crack. There is no one out there.
Jordan (whispering): There’s no one out there.
Jane (no longer whispering): Well, there was, and it wasn’t Ken. I think it was Peter in that stupid costume of his.
Jordan: Who’s Peter?
Jane: He’s a friend of Michelle and I. He’s been scaring us all day.
Jordan gets up and slowly opens the closet.
Cut to his POV. We look to the left and look to the right. We see nothing.
End POV. Jordan steps out of the closet. Jane slowly steps out behind him. Jordan takes three steps toward the stairs. It is deathly quiet in the hallway. He looks down the stairs. Nothing. He turns to look into the room next to him.
Ken: BOO!
Jordan and Jane: Oh shit!
Ken: Ha ha, I got you guys. I also found you, which means you have to come help me find the others.
Jane and Jordan exchange relieved looks. Ken leads the way. The camera is at the bottom of the stairs looking up as everyone walks down. There is a dark doorway at the top of the stairs. We can see The Shape slowly appear in it, watching the group go downstairs. When the whole group passes out of frame, the shape moves from the room.

It will be pretty soon that they know that they are indeed in the presence of The Shape, and not Peter.

This is getting great! It's sorta like a remake of Halloween, but not a remake, does that make sense?
Also, MMyers89 will Laurie come back, or in your script, is shw 100% dead?
Any idea when it will be all finished?

I am trying to give it a Halloween feel like the original, but still making it fresh and new with the John, Tommy etc subplot. I threw in tons of Halloween references in there, so I know what you mean.
Laurie is dead, she died at the end of H8. She is not coming back.

here is what I have so far, but I am still writing, so there will still be more up maybe later today.
Cut to John, Molly, Tommy and Kara inside the Myers house. The Halloween theme begins to play and this begins a montage with quick cuts of all of them working. We see them pounding nails and sawing wood and setting stuff up, but noting is heard, only the Halloween theme playing over the scene. This scene lasts about 50 seconds with quick cuts of them working. Then cut to the exterior of the house, Halloween theme still playing loudly over the scene. The camera backs up to show the house sitting quietly, with flashes in the bottom windows of sparks from the welding and sawing that is going on inside.
Cut back to the Johnson house where everyone is babysitting. Jane, Jordan and Ken are in the backyard still looking for the others.
Jane: We’ve been looking for 10 minutes and we still can’t find them. I say we end this game and do something else.
Ken: No way! We have to finish this. Then we can do something else.
Just then we hear something move in the shed on the edge of the patio.
Ken: Over there.
He points to the shed.
Ken: I think they are in the shed.
The whole group slowly sneaks up to the shed. Jane reaches out for the door handle. She slowly opens it. Right when she steps inside the kids and Michelle jump up and scream.
Jane: Shit! God, you scared me. But we found you.
Ken: Yep, now lets play something else.
Jordan: No, how about we watch a movie.
Michelle: Actually it’s kinda getting late for me. Jane, I can take the kids if you two want to stay here for a while.
Jane: Sure. Would that be Ok Jordan?
Jordan: Ya, it’d be great.
Michelle: Well then, I’ll just take these guys back to the McDermott’s. Jane, just swing by to pick up Tyler later ok?
Jane: Ya, see ya later.
Michelle: Bye.
Michelle and the kids go around the side of the house and out of sight.
Jane: So, what do you want to do?
Jordan: Lets sit down for a while.
They both walk across the patio and go inside. They make their way over to the couch. They sit down and Jordan puts his arm around Jane. She looks at him and leans in for a kiss. He lies down and she lies down on top of him, still kissing.
Cut to Michelle shutting the front door as she gets back to the house.
Michelle: Ok kids, I think it’s time for you to go to bed.
Tyler: Oh, do we have to?
Michelle: Yep, your parents would kill me if I let you stay up past your bedtime. Come on, let’s go.
Cut to Michelle upstairs leaving the room where she just put the kids to sleep. We can see them in the background tucked away in bed. Michelle walks down the hall. She stops when she hears something downstairs.
Michelle: Hello.
There is no reply. She creeps closer to the stairs. She slowly starts down them. When she gets to the bottom she sees the front door is open.
Michelle: Shit! I swear I closed that.
She walks up to it and shuts it. Her eyes are darting all over the house. She is scared. Just then she hears a noise coming from the kitchen.
Michelle: Oh fuck! I gotta get the kids and get outta here!
She runs up the stairs. The camera is in back of her as she runs up then when she gets to the top it pans around to the front of her and we can see down the stairs. The Shape steps into the frame. He just stares up the stairs at Michelle for moment, then slowly makes his way up. The stalk theme plays. Michelle turns around and sees him. She screams. She runs to the room at the very end of the hall. She goes to the nightstand in the back with a phone on it. She picks it up. The cord has been cut.
Michelle: Damn it!
She slowly turns around. The Shape is nowhere to be seen in the hall. End stalk theme. Michelle slowly walks to the front of the room. She looks out into the hall then slowly walks out. She walks up to the room where the kids are sleeping. Just as she is opening the door, Michael’s hand grabs her around the neck and pulls her into the room across the hall. With his other hand, Michael lunges his knife deep into her stomach, then cuts up past her breasts. We see her body drop to the floor, with a deep cut all the way up her front side, blood oozing from it.

I liked it, some death's in horror movie's drag on, if you know what I mean, and having a quick death like Michelle's would be good. :)

I promised myself I wouldn't post until I had a lot written and had actually written something important, but I didn't want to keep you waiting, so here is some more of the script, its not really much, but I'll post it just to keep you in suspense.
Cut back to Jane and Jordan. They are still on the couch with each other; Jane is putting her shirt back on.
Jane: Thanks for a fun night Jordan, but I think I should be leaving now. I have to get Tyler and take him home.
Jordan: Ok let’s walk over together, I have to get Ken.
Cut to them leaving the house, just starting to cross the street.
Jane: So, do you have any plans for tomorrow?
Jordan: Well, I was thinking maybe we could do something together.
Jane: Ya, I was thinking the same thing.
They get to the door. Jane rings the doorbell once.
Cut to the kids in bed, sleeping, we can hear the doorbell in the background, but the kids sleep right through it.
Cut back to Jane and Jordan on the porch. Jane rings again.
Jane: I wonder why she isn’t answering. Maybe they fell asleep.
Jordan: Well, I guess the kids are fine there, I better get back in case the Johnson’s come home.
Jane: Ya, I need to get going too.
Jordan bends down and kisses Jane.
Jordan: See ya tomorrow.
Jane: Bye.
We follow Jordan as he walks back across the street. A slight breeze is blowing the brown fall leaves around his feet. We can hear crickets chirping quietly in the background. When he gets to the Johnson house he walks to the front door. It is slightly cracked open.
Jordan (to himself): I swear I shut this.
He opens it all the way and goes in. He doesn’t act like he suspects anything is wrong. He makes his way to the couch and sits down. As he turns on the TV, we see the Shape come out of the kitchen in the background and go up the stairs. Jordan turns and looks at the clock. It says 9:15.
Jordan (to himself): God, the Johnson’s should have been home by now.

The original “Carnival of Souls” is on TV and Jordan forgets about the whole thing and continues to watch it.
Cut to the Myers house where John, Molly, Kara, and Tommy are just finishing up the trap.
John: Ok, we’re done. Now all we need is for Michael to come here. That’s gonna be the hard part. He could be anywhere in this town, or maybe even out of town, who knows.
Tommy: Well, all we can do is look. I say we start in the neighborhoods where he is most likely to be, then work our way towards the edge of town. We won’t split up because we want to be together when we find him.
Kara: So what are we gonna do, just drive around town until we find him? That could take hours. It’ll be morning by the time we get to him.
Tommy: Well what the hell else can we do? That is really our only choice right now. We can find him, Kara. It may take a while but we’ll do it.
Molly: Kara’s right you know. He may have already killed people tonight. We could be too late.
John: If he did then I’m sorry, I really am, but if we leave now we could still save some lives. Plus we’ll be saving the lives of many future people if this trap works.
Tommy: Ya, so we need to stop arguing and leave now. No more time needs to be wasted. We need to stop this bastard tonight.
John: Well, lets go then.
Cut back to Jordan, still watching the movie. He looks at the clock again. It says 9:34. He gets up and goes over to the phone. He dials then holds it to his ear. After 3 rings:
Jane (Voice Only): Hello, this is the Stevenson residence.
Jordan: Hey Jane, this is Jordan.
Jane (V.O): Oh hey, what’s up?
Jordan: Nothing, just wondering if the Stevenson’s were home yet or if you had heard anything from them, because the Johnson’s aren’t home yet.
Jane (V.O): No, the Stevenson’s aren’t home yet either, I don’t know where they are, they should have been home a while ago.
We see the Shape appear at the top of the stairs behind Jordan. He just stands there and watches Jordan.
Jordan: Well, if you want, you can come back over. I don’t think we’ll get in trouble, I mean, they’re late so…
Jane (V.O): Um, ya, that’d be fun. I’ll come over in a little bit.
Jordan: Ok, cool. Well, see ya then.
Jane (V.O): Ok, see ya.
Jordan: Bye.
He hangs up the phone. The Shape disappears from the top of the stairs. Jordan walks towards the stairs and starts to go up them. He gets to the top and looks around for a second, then sees what he’s looking for: the master bedroom. He walks towards it. He goes in and leaves the lights off. He walks over to the nightstand on the right side of the bed and opens the top drawer. There is girl’s jewelry in it so he shuts it and walks around the bed to the other nightstand. He opens the drawer and there are condoms in it.
Jordan (to himself): Ah, here we go.
He takes one out and puts it in his back pocket.
Then he makes his way over to the bathroom. He turns on the light and looks around. He spots some cologne and picks it up and smells it.
Jordan: Ah.
He sprays it twice on his neck and once down his pants. The camera pans around to the front of Jordan as he puts the cologne back where he found it. In the blackness of the doorway we see the Shape’s mask slowly appear. Then his whole body is visible. He walks up behind Jordan and grabs him around the shoulders. Jordan lets out one scream before Michael stabs him deep in the side of the neck, the blade almost coming out the other side. Michael lets go of Jordan’s shoulders and Jordan’s neck slides off the knife and his body falls to the floor. A pool of blood quickly forms around him. Michael turns around and leaves the bathroom.

01-22-2005, 09:58 PM
Cut to Jane as she is getting ready to leave. She is spraying perfume on her neck. She puts it down and walks downstairs. She turns off the TV then makes her way over to the front door. She leaves the house and steps out into the breezy, dark night. It is deathly quiet out and Jane becomes kind of nervous. The wind picks up and it starts to rain. Jane picks up her pace a little. There is a bright flash of lightning followed a few seconds later by an extremely loud crash of thunder. Jane jumps and finally picks up her pace to a slow run until she gets to the Johnson house. She rings to doorbell. The rain is coming down really hard now. It has been about 15 seconds since Jane has rang the doorbell and no one has answered yet, so she rings it again. After waiting 10 seconds or so she gives up.
Jane (yelling): Jordan, are you there? Answer the door, it’s Jane! Jordan! Jordan!
There is no answer from inside. Jane slowly grabs the doorknob and opens the door. She walks into the house. The TV is still on and so are the lights.
Jane (yelling): Jordan, its Jane! I came in. Where are you?
There is still no answer. She walks around the family room then goes into the kitchen.
Jane (yelling): Where the hell are you?! This isn’t funny, Jordan! I’ll go home.
She hears something move upstairs.
Jane (yelling): I can hear you up there! It’s not funny. Come downstairs now.
She walks over to the stairs and looks up them. She gets an uneasy look on her face. She starts to go up the stairs. She gets to the top and looks around. She sees the bathroom light is on in the master bedroom, so she goes in there. The bedroom is dark and Jane looks nervous. She turns and goes into the bathroom. She sees Jordan lying on the floor with a pool of blood around him.
Jane: Oh my God!
She turns around and is face to face with The Shape. She screams a blood curdling scream and runs as fast as she can past him. Michael turns and follows her. The stalk theme plays. Jane runs out of the bedroom and gets to the stairs. We can see Michael getting closer behind her. She runs down the stairs. She runs over and opens the front door just as Michael is about halfway down the stairs. Jane slams the door and runs out into the stormy night. When she is about halfway across the street we see the front door of the Johnson house violently swing open. Michael steps out and doesn’t bother to close it. A huge flash of lightning illuminates everything. Jane turns and looks behind her.
Jane: Oh shit!
Thunder booms through the night. Jane reaches the McDermott house where Michelle was babysitting. She bangs loudly on the door.
Jane: Michelle, let me in! It’s Jane, Goddamn it open the door! Someone’s after me!
There is no answer.
Jane: Come on!
She is in tears as Michael gets closer and closer. Finally she just opens the door and goes in. She slams the door and locks the knob and the deadbolt. She goes into the dining room and gets a chair. She drags it into the entryway and puts it under the doorknob. Then she runs to the back of the house and locks the back door. She wheels a little buffet table in front of the door. She then runs back to the front of the house and goes for the stairs. Just then we can hear loud, violent banging on the front door.
Jane: Oh God!
The banging gets louder then stops.
Jane: Shit!
Jane starts up the stairs very slowly and quietly. She gets to the top and goes to the nearest bedroom. The kids are huddled in the corner, crying.
Jane: Oh, there you are, we have to get you out of here.
Bobby: What’s going on? We heard lots of thing happening downstairs.
Jane: It’s gonna be ok, don’t worry. Where’s Michelle?
Bobby: We don’t know.
Jane: Look, I want you guys to stay with me ok. Now lets go.
Jane helps the kids up then turns and starts to leave the room.
Jane: Just wait here one second guys Ok. I’m just going to check something.
She leaves the room and crosses the hall. She gets to the other room and finds Michelle’s body on the floor surrounded with blood. She scream but covers her mouth to muffle it. She starts to cry. Then she stops. It is deathly quiet. Then we start to hear a hint of deep breathing. Jane hears it too. She turns around and standing in the doorway is Michael, knife up. Jane jumps back and screams.
Jane: Kids, go to the neighbor’s house right now, tell them to call the police! Ok, can you do that?
The kids run out of the room and down the stairs. Jane stands up and backs away from Michael. Then she turns and runs into the closet and Michael follows. There is a golf bag in the closet and Jane grabs a golf club and waits. The closet door crashes open and Michael steps in. Jane swings the golf club as hard as she can and hits Michael in the top of the head. He is temporarily knocked down so Jane makes a break for it. She runs full speed out of the bedroom and gets to the stairs.
Cut back to the room as Michael is getting up. He shakes his head then makes his way to the doorway.
Cut back to Jane. She is now off the stairs, making her way to the front door. She opens the door just as we see Michael appear at the top of the stairs. Jane gets outside and shuts the door.
Jane: Help! Someone help me! Please, anyone!
She runs into the road, screaming. A car turns onto the road.
Jane: Help! Help me please!
The car slows down and turns into the Stevenson’s driveway. It is the Stevenson’s. Jane runs up to the car as the Stevenson’s are getting out.
David Stevenson: Jane, what’s wrong? What happened?
Jane: Someone is after me; he is trying to kill me!
David: What? Where the hell is Tyler.
Jane: He’s ok; he went to the neighbor’s.
David and Marie Stevenson look like they don’t know what to do.
Jane: Bobby McDermott and Ken Johnson are with him too.
Jane starts to cry.
David: What’s wrong Jane?
Jane: Their babysitters, Jordan and Michelle, they didn’t make it. The man killed them.
Jane falls to her knees and starts crying.
David: Well, do you know where he is?
Jane points to the McDermott house next door.
Jane: He’s still in there.
Cut to shot over The Shape’s shoulder. He is watching Jane and the Stevenson’s talk through the window.
Cut back to Jane and the Stevenson’s out in the driveway. David leans down to help get Jane up off her knees. Jane keeps crying.
David: Come on Jane, it’ll be all right. Come on, let’s go next door and see how the kids are.
Jane takes David’s hand and stands up.
David: There ya go. You’re ok.
They all walk over to the house next door. As they are walking we see the front door of the McDermott house open. The Shape steps out and watches them walk. Jane and the Stevenson’s reach the neighbor’s house and go up onto the porch. They ring the doorbell and the door opens almost immediately. The owners of the house are the Russell’s.
Mrs. Russell: Oh thank God you are here. I was worried sick. Tyler and the other kids are in the living room watching a movie.
They all walk into the living room.
Marie (Mrs. Stevenson): Tyler! Oh thank God you are ok! And Ken and Bobby, your parents should be home soon, so don’t worry.
Mr. Russell: The police should be here soon. For now lets just try to relax. Jane, why don’t you sit down?
Jane walks over to the couch. She sits down next to Tyler.

Actually, its just under 50. So ya, it takes a lot of writing to finish a full length script.

Haha, don't worry man, you'll get there someday. Also, are you using Times New Roman font, because if you are change it to Courier New font size 12, its the official script font and its a little bigger.

Yep, I've been using Courier New, but size 10, I've changed it. Thanks man!

I was thinking that while the script writing process is going pretty slow that maybe one of you photoshop whizzes out there could make an H9 poster based off my story. You could find a picture of a girl (preferably not an actress) and put her on it as Jane. I would want something that hasn't been done before, so don't just recycle pics off old posters, try and do something new. If someone could do that it might be fun. If enough people do it, I could choose one and make it the "official" poster of my scipt/movie. This could be fun.

And you're probably dying to see more on the script. I really kinda have writers block right now and I'm trying to decide what direction I want the script to go in. I don't want the end to be some typical slasher show down, I want something big and exciting. So maybe I will work on it tonight and tomorrow night since I have a 3 day weekend for presidents day. So maybe be on the lookout for something little.

I was thinking, "Have John jump out (or Laurie) from a bush, in a big surpise, and have him/her kill Michael", then I was thinking, "Ah, crap. John's in it already."

That could be cool, bring back a charcter. But Laurie and Jamie are already dead, and I'm not gonna do a cheesy thing and say that they didn't die, because they clearly did. So I guess there will be no surprise character because I already united a bunch of the old characters.

Ugh, I'm soooo stuck on the end of my story, I have so many ideas but I'm not sure what I want to do with them and how to put them togehter. Eventually there will be more. I keep saying there will be stuff tomorrow but there never is, I know. I get to writing and I don't know where I want to go with it. It may be a while.

Their's a lot of ending you could do... 1) Michael's dead, and their's no "Holy shit, his fucking eyes just opened, OMG!!!" ending, sorta like Halloween 2. 2) BIG frigging cliffhanger, like Halloween: H20, or, 3) End in the moment, like one surviver, Michael's coming towards them, then have Busta and Jason walk into the house, and scream "let's do this, ya motha fucka!".

I wouldn't want Busta back - yet the producers claim he WILL be.

I've changed the last part of my script very drastically so check it out on page 5 of this thread. I'm adding A LOT more to the story before we go to the Myers house for the final showdown. Here is the part I have redone, and I will be writing the rest from here:

Thanks, did you like the new stuff better? I know it wasn't much yet, but it is a lot different, because I had 40 pages left and I was already at the Myers house. Now, I have 40 pages left but I can still do alot with the Stevensons and stuff.
I don't know when it will be done, definitely sooner now that I don't have to write 40 pages at the Myers house, I'm not so stuck anymore.

He had another title on it and I asked him to change it to Evil Never Dies, and he did, so it wasn't really made for this story, but it works perfectly anyway.
