Well, hot off of Locked and Loaded, I've begun another "horror" script. Right now I am working on two other serious ones though. But this one came to my mind one day: bounty hunter Tony Carcatera convinces his new boss to give him a file on a deranged killer. Tony is pushed to the limit when he finds out the killer for some reason is after him, trying to break him, any way he can. That's basically it. It's this bounty hunter's most difficult and complicated hunt yet, and it's either gonna kill him...or leave him broken. Here is a small portion of it, probably all I'll post till I ever finish it. How is it? (building up the story)

AT THE DOORSTEP OF INSANITY
FADE IN:
INT. WILCHESTER SERVICE OFFICES - DAY
Three desks are only a few feet away from each other in a
small, confined room. Yellow folders, files, and paper are
mixed together. Unorganized.
Toward the end of the room is a door and a window next to it.
Through the window we can see the person who runs the place:
HARVEY TINTON. Slow, mellow. Packing.
The front door opens and TONY CARCATERA walks in with a
swagger. He's 30, handsome, and in an expensive Armani suit.
We can tell right away he thinks he's a hot shot.
Tony places his brief case down on his desk, opens it up and
digs around in it. He pulls out some papers and stares at
them blankly. The door in the back opens and Harvey enters.
HARVEY
Hey, Tony.
TONY
(on papers)
Harvey -- how is it going?
HARVEY
Good.
TONY
Good to hear.
HARVEY
How about yourself?
TONY
Great.
Harvey offers a faint smile and walks over to a desk where
he begins organizing it.
TONY
So, what's up with you?
HARVEY
Tony -- today is my last day, okay.
I think you should know.
TONY
What, why?
HARVEY
Well, I've been running this office
since forever. I've done good,
this is a fine organization, but
I believe my work is done here.
TONY
Where will you be going?
HARVEY
Home, where I'll settle down with
my wife and my kids. You don't
have a problem with this, do you?
Brief pause. They are interrupted by another man -- ANDY
CHIPTON -- coming out of Harvey's office holding a file.
ANDY
I hope there is no problem.
Tony glances over to Andy.
TONY
Who is this?
Andy smiles and extends his hand.
ANDY
I'm your new boss.
Tony leaves Andy with his hand out, and his smile slowly
fading. Finally, he brings his hand back to his side.
ANDY
Well, I hope there is no...
HARVEY
There is no problem, Andy. It's
just....
TONY
Just you coulda told me earlier,
Harvey. Who is this?
ANDY
I'm --
TONY
-- I'm talking to Harvey. Who is
this?
HARVEY
Andy Chipton, he's running this
place for now on.
TONY
Andy Chipton, huh?
ANDY
I've run other offices before.
TONY
I'm sure you have.
HARVEY
I've seen him do it, Tony. Trust
me, he knows how to handle an
office and he treats his men well.
TONY
I sure as hell hope so.
ANDY
No worries here, Tony.
Tony slightly tilts his head on Andy saying his name, as if
he's wondering if this guy thinks they're already buddy-buddy.
HARVEY
Now Tony, I know this may be some
what difficult for you. I've run
this office for some time now. I
have a present for you for all the
times you've been a good worker.
Andy has it in the office. Ever
hear of Barry Hockings?
Tony's face lightens up.
TONY
I'm...familiar, a little.
HARVEY
Well, you got him. He's all yours,
just bring him in. You've got the
highest price. Now if you excuse
me, I'll be leaving.
Harvey nods and exits. Tony shoots Andy a look then follows
after Harvey.
INT. HALLWAY - DAY
Tony stops Harvey.
TONY
Who the fuck is this guy?
HARVEY
Listen, Tony, I know you trust
me. I know you like me.
TONY
That's right.
HARVEY
And that's all well and good but
you have to get used to change.
It'll be just the same without me
here.
TONY
No it won't.
HARVEY
Andy is a good guy, he's a great
guy. He'll run this office the
right way. The way it's supposed
to be run. He'll treat you and
everyone else here with respect.
TONY
Oh, he better.
HARVEY
I figured your arrogance would
blind you.
TONY
What does that mean?
HARVEY
Take what he has in the office.
TONY
What does that mean?
HARVEY
I'm sure you'll like it.
TONY
'The fuck does that mean? My
arrogance?
HARVEY
It means, Tony, I figured you
wouldn't take it too well taking
orders from some new guy in town.
We're friends, we've known each
other, we respect each other, and
we trust each other. Now Andy
Chipton, he's some new jackass I'm
sure you're thinking. You can't
trust him, so on and so on, but
you just have to give it a chance.
I'm done and that's all there is
to it. You're the best bounty
hunter on God's green earth and
you know it. Just take the file
I left for you on Andy's desk.
Barry Hockings. Now if you'll
excuse me, I'm going home to my
family.
TONY
Alright. I'll call ya, I guess.
INT. OFFICES - DAY
Tony storms back in, heading to Andy's room. He walks in.
INT. ANDY'S ROOM - DAY
He is greeted by Andy at his desk.
ANDY
What can I help you with?
TONY
What...what do you fucking think?
He points to the file on the desk which Andy glances at.
ANDY
Oh, sure. Take it, it's yours.
Tony scoops it up and exits.
INT. OFFICES - DAY
He takes it over to his desk, sits down, opens it. Taking
it all in, preparing for whatever is inside, he opens it.
ON FILE: INSERT - one piece of paper stapled to the inside.
INSERT: INFO lines -- "Benjamin White. Age-45. Black.
Abusive, violent, impulsive, bi-polar. Known for instant
out bursts. Wanted for robbery, assault, grand theft auto."
Tony looks up from the file and toward Andy's room.
TONY
Chipton...Chipton....CHIPTON!
Andy walks out, agitated.
ANDY
What is it?
TONY
(pointing to file)
What is this?
ANDY
It's yours.
TONY
No, fella, this ain't mine.
ANDY
Benjamin White, correct?
TONY
Correct, that's the name in the
file.
(not looking at the info)
45, black, abusive, violent, bi-polar,
impulsive. Known for instant out
bursts. Cocksucker is wanted for

ANDY

not what Harvey said I was gonna

ANDY
