Fearing that the worst is not over,Keri Tate loads Michael Myers into the cornoners van,as Molly and John look on

MOLLY:Miss Tate!
JOHN: Mom!
MOLLY:What the hell is she doing?
JOHN:God,I don't know.

A paramedic slowly walks by John and Molly,staring at them.John stares back,confrontationally.

JOHN:What was that about?

[Cut to] Will Brennan being taken to an ambulance...alive!John and Molly run to his side.

MOLLY:Mr Brennan!
JOHN:Thank God.
WILL:I'll be alright.John,where is Keri?Is she okay?
JOHN:She took off in that van with the body in it.
WILL:I think you guys better go after her.
MOLLY:But Mr Bre-
WILL:[interrupts]Go ahead,I'll be fine,they're taking me to the hospital now.John,go find your mother.

A Summer Glen patrolman walk up to John and Molly as Will is being taken away

POLICEMAN: (INTERRUPTS) John Tate?
JOHN:Yeah,I'm John Tate.
HILLCREST POLICEMAN:We need you to come with us.
JOHN:Why?Is there something wrong?What is it?Is my mom okay?
HILLCREST POLICEMAN:Just come with me.
JOHN:I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what the fuck is going on!
HILLCREST POLICEMAN: (SILENTLY) There has been an incident involving your mom up the road.

<OCTOBER 31,1998 LATE IN THE EVENING SUMMER GLEN HILLS>
[HELICOPTER WITH SEARCH LIGHT ON FLYING ABOVE]

THE BUSHES BELOW ARE MOVING WITH A DARK SILHOUETTE MOVING THROUGH THEM [the Shape].

THE SEARCH LIGHT ROTATES THROUGH THE HILLS OF SUMMER GLEN.AFTER A MINUTE OF SEARCHING,
NOTHING IS FOUND AND ABORTS.

<FADE>

>>RESURRECTION CLIP-POLICEMAN FINDING THE HEAD,REVEALS IT TO BE ONE OF THE PARAMEDICS.

[OPENING CREDITS]

<SUMMER GLEN,CA. HILLCREST ACADEMY [WILL'S] COUNSELOR'S OFFICE ,AUGUST 5,2003>
[KNOCK ON THE DOOR]

WILL:Come in. Hey,John.
[PAUSE]
WILL:You've got some mail here.
JOHN:What is it?
WILL:I dont know.I didn't open it up.

[JOHN OPENS IT UP.]

JOHN:Life insurance...

[WILL GLANCES AT JOHN,LOOKING INQUISITIVE]

JOHN READS FROM THE LETTER:" JOHN TATE,ENCLOSED ARE THE APPROPRIATE BENEFICIARY DOCUMENTS THAT YOU NEED TO
FILL OUT TO RECEIVE THE $30,000 OF LIFE INSURANCE FROM HILLCREST ACADEMY FOR THE DECEASED,LAURIE STRODE."

WILL:Laurie Strode?Oh,my god.That was...
JOHN: He got my mom.

[JOHN'S EYES FILL WITH TEARS]

JOHN:I'm gonna get that fuck!
WILL:John...
JOHN:He killed my mom and now I'm gonna go find him and fucking kill him!
WILL:But you dont even know where he is! John,what you need to do right now is...

[JOHN STARTS TO LEAVE WILL'S OFFICE]

WILL:[YELLS] JOHN!!!

[JOHN TURNS AROUND TO FACE WILL]

WILL:John.What are you gonna do?This guy could be anywhere.

[PAUSE]

WILL:That night before it happened,your mom told me the story of her past and how she had to go into hiding.

JOHN:Haddonfield,Illinois.That is where. I was born there 3 years after the whole Halloween incident.My dad worked at the hospital where my mom was taken that night.He was a paramedic there.Mom was so messed up over what happened in 1978,that she immediately wanted to get as far away from there as possible.Dad wanted to stay there and things sorta got bad between them,and mom and I ended up here.

JOHN:You know what?Since he likes to butcher people on Halloween so much,I say a surprise visit is in store.But this time,he's the one that's gonna get it.

III.<HADDONFIELD,IL. OCTOBER 31,2002. HADDONFIELD MORGUE,PM.>

[RESURRECTION CLIP]

PARAMEDIC:Get me a copy of that autograph.
FEMALE CORONER:Yeah,sure.
PARAMEDIC [to other paramedic] :She cracks me up.

[CORONER SLOWLY REMOVES HEAD OF BODYBAG TO REVEAL A BADLY BURNED LATEX MASK]

[NEW FOOTAGE;HR CLIP ENDS]

MICHAEL'S EYES ROLL OPEN,AND THE CORONER YELLS,BUT IT'S TOO LATE.HE HAS HER BY THE THROAT AND SNAPS HER
NECK BEFORE ANYONE CAN HEAR HER.MICHAEL MAKES HIS WAY TO THE DOOR,BUT THE HALLWAY IS FULL OF PEOPLE,
PATIENTS AND REPORTERS COVERING THE NIGHT'S EVENTS.HE CLOSES THE DOOR.[FADE]

THE HOSPITAL IS NOW DARK,AS VISITING HOURS ARE OVER.THE PARAMEDICS RETURN WITH ANOTHER BODY TO THE CORONER'S OFFICE.THE ROOM IS COMPLETELY DARK.

PARAMEDIC#1:Hello?
PARAMEDIC#2:H-Hello?[FLICKS LIGHT SWITCH,DOES NOT WORK]

THEY BOTH TAKE A FEW STEPS INTO THE ROOM

PARAMEDIC #1:She must have gone to lunch.

[SLOWLY APPROACHING THE PARAMEDICS FROM BEHIND IS THE SHAPE.]

THEY BOTH TURN AROUND

*POV:OUTSIDE OF THE HOSPITAL* ONE OF THE PARAMEDICS COMES CRASHING THROUGH THE 4TH STORY WINDOW.

*POV:BACK INSIDE THE HOSPITAL* THE OTHER PARAMEDIC IS WRESTLING AROUND WITH THE SHAPE AND MANAGES TO GET OUT OF THE ROOM.MICHAEL GRABS A SYRINGE,GRABS AHOLD OF THE DOOR KNOB VIOLENTLY,OPENS IT AND FOLLOWS.

THE PARAMEDIC FINDS THE DOOR TO THE STAIRWAY,AND GOES INTO IT.

PARAMEDIC:Help!Anybody?Please!

CONTINUING TO GO DOWN FLIGHTS OF STAIRS UNTIL THE PARAMEDIC RUNS INTO...

HOSPITAL SECURITY:Hey,what's going on,man?

THE SHAPE DROPS FROM THE ABOVE STAIRWELL,AND FACES THE TWO MEN.TILTS HEAD.

PARAMEDIC:Shoot his ass!

THE SECURITY GUARD PULLS OUT HIS GUN,BUT WHEN HE PULLS THE TRIGGER,IT' BECOMES OBVIOUS THAT IT'S NOT LOADED.

SECURITY GUARD:"Shit!"

[MICHAEL STEPS FORWARD]

THE PARAMEDIC PULLS THE NIGHTSTICK OUT OF THE SECURITY GUARD'S BELT AND BASHES THE SHAPE WITH IT.

[SECURITY GUARD FUMBLES WITH THE GUN]

MICHAEL PUSHES THE PARAMEDIC DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS AND MOVES TOWARDS THE SECURITY GUARD.

[SECURITY GUARD POINTS GUN TOWARDS THE SHAPE,TRYING TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE FALLEN PARAMEDIC]

SECURITY GUARD:"Stop! Stop right there! Now!"

THE SHAPE GRABS THE SECURITY GUARD AND STABS HIM WITH THE NEEDLE IN THE HEART.SECURITY GUARD FALLS TO THE GROUND WITH A SICKENING THUD.

MICHAEL BEGINS DOWN THE STAIRS AGAIN.

*POV OUTSIDE HOSPITAL*
A CROWD HAS GATHERED IN THE FRONT OF THE HOSPITAL/MAIN ENTRANCE,WHERE THE FALLEN PARAMEDIC LAY,FROM BEING THROWN OUT THE WINDOW EARLIER.
*PANS BACK TO REVEAL*
MICHAEL SLIPPING OUT THE EMERGENCY ROOM DOOR TO THE LEFT OF THE SCREEN,INTO THE PARKING LOT.


<<OCTOBER 31,2002 THE MYERS HOUSE P.M.>>

BACK AT THE MYERS HOUSE,CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATORS HAVE ALREADY BEGUN EXAMINING THE AREA.
A GROUP OF BIOCHEMISTS ARRIVE TO CHECK OUT THE HOUSE AND BEGIN CLEANING IT UP.

GIL:" This looks pretty bad."
LISA:"Gil,They're ALL bad."
JEREMY:"Yeah,man.You should be used to this shit by now."
GIL:"Do you guys not know where we are?This is the Myers house,okay.This isn't just your ordinary clean it up and move on deal.
This house has had some major history to it.For the last 40 years!"
JEREMY:"Enough of this social studies.Lets just get this place detoxified,now that all of the bodies are out of here so we can get home,okay.I mean,you may not mind spending your entire Halloween here,but I do."
GIL:"Why dont you go out to the van and start bringing in the cleaning supplies,then?"

[JEREMY GOES OUTSIDE AND APPROACHES THE VAN]

GIL:"Whadda dick!"

[THE SHAPE COMES FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VAN]

JEREMY:"What do you want,kid?I aint got any candy for ya."

LISA:"Where the hell is he?"

GIL:"I dont know but I wish he would hurry up.Why do we always get stuck working with guys like this?"

LISA:"This place gives me the creeps."

[Gil goes over to the door,looks through the peep-hole]

GIL:"Oh,do you believe this asshole"

LISA:"What?"

GIL:"He's got some kind of Halloween get-up on.Dont try that Halloween shit with me!"

[Jeremy's body comes crashing through the living room window,with a knife in his groin]

Michael Myers kicks open the front door,and makes his way into his house.

Michael walks into the kitchen,reaches into the drawer,and pulls out the biggest butcher knife in it.

Realizing that this is not a joke,Gil and Lisa attempt to get away.

The shape throws the knife at Gil,landing in the middle of his back.

Gil falls to the floor.The shape takes the knife from Gil's back.

The shape looks over at Lisa,with the blackest eyes locked on his next target.

She starts to run up the stairs,but Michael catches her three stairs away from the top,and tosses her over the railing.

Lisa begins crawling,trying to reach the front door,as the shape makes his way back down the stairs.

She just about reaches the doorknob when...

*Lisa's POV* Michael Myers stabs down 4 times

[end of scene]

<HILLCREST ACADEMY,OCTOBER 27,2003>

WILL:You all loaded for this weekend?
JOHN:Yeah,just a couple more things.
WILL:John,are you sure you want to do this?You never did get to go to Yosemite.The Academy has that field trip coming up.
It'd probably do you good to..

[JOHN LOOKS OVER TO WILL]

WILL:Alright.




<HILLCREST ACADEMY,OCTOBER 31,2003 HALLOWEEN>

CAR DOORS SHUT.WILL TAKES THE DRIVER'S SEAT.[START IGNITION]

WILL:You know,John.I dont think I ever told you this,but we have a common background.

[PULLS OUT OF HILLCREST GATES]

WILL:I never really knew my dad that much as a kid,we werent as close as my friends and their dads were.
Like your father,mine was abusive,and I never forgave him for the things that he did to mom and I.

[DRIVING THROUGH SUMMER GLEN HILLS]

JOHN:You did know your dad.I was too young to remember anything about him,except for what mom told me about him and the pictures she had.

[THE SHAPE'S TRUCK FROM H20 IS COMING TOWARDS JOHN AND WILL]

WILL:So,see you're not the only one who...

JOHN:No.It..

[TRUCK COMES CLOSE]

WILL:What??

[TRUCK PASSES BY WITH A GUY IN A WHITE MASK DRIVING IT]

JOHN:That truck!It's him!Turn around!

WILL TURNS AROUND,FOLLOWS THE TRUCK FROM A DISTANCE
[THE SHAPE DOES NOT KNOW WHO IS BEHIND HIM]

<HILLCREST ACADEMY>
THE SHAPE COMES PLOWING THROUGH THE GATES OF HILLCREST,SENDING PIECES OF THE METAL GATE EVERYWHERE.
HE PARKS IN FRONT OF THE OLD KITCHEN AND STEPS OUT.TAKES A FEW STEPS AND TURNS TO SEE THE SUV THAT WILL IS DRIVING
COMING AT HIM,LESS THAN 10 FEET AWAY.THE SUV PLUNGES INTO THE SHAPE,PINNING HIM AGAINST THE ADOBE WALL.

WILL GETS OUT AND PULLS A RED GAS CAN OUT OF THE BACK OF THE SUV.BEGINS DOUCING GASOLINE ON MICHAEL,
WHO IS STUCK BETWEEN THE VEHICLE AND THE WALL.

WILL TURNS TO FACE JOHN.

WILL:John,get me the matches out of there!

THE SHAPE FORCES HIS WAY OUT,GRABS AN UNSUSPECTING WILL AND THROWS HIM THROUGH THE [KITCHEN] WINDOW.

JOHN RUNS UP BEHIND THE SHAPE AND NAILS HIM IN THE HEAD WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER.THE SHAPE FALLS DOWN.
JOHN RUNS INTO THE SUV IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET IT TO REVERSE,BUT THE MOTOR WONT CRANK.

JOHN:Come on!

THE SHAPE SITS UP AND LOOKS AT JOHN

JOHN:Oh,fuck,come on,come on. [CONTINUES TO FIDDLE WITH IGNITION]

MICHAEL IS SLOWLY MAKING HIS WAY TOWARDS THE VEHICLE.MICHAEL APPROACHES THE VEHICLE AND SLASHES THE BACK TIRES.

JOHN:Fuck!

THE SHAPE BUSTS THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD;REACHES FOR JOHN,WHO CRAWLS TO THE PASSENGER SIDE.
MICHAEL WALKS AROUND THE SUV AND BREAKS THAT WINDOW,TOO.UNLOCKS THE DOOR.

JOHN CRAWLS THROUGH THE BACK SEAT AND OUT THE BACK DOOR.MICHAEL FOLLOWS,AND JOHN SLAMS THE DOOR DOWN ON
HIS HEAD.JOHN RUNS INTO THE SCHOOL.MICHAEL FOLLOWS.

<2ND FLOOR HALLWAY>

[JOHN IS HIDING FROM THE SHAPE]

MICHAEL COMES DOWN THE HALLWAY IN SEARCH OF JOHN;FINDS NOTHING.

THE SHAPE THEN LOOKS OVER THE BALCONY INTO THE MULTI USE ROOM.

JOHN ATTACKS FROM BEHIND,SLAMMING MICHAEL IN THE BACK AND THEN TO THE HEAD WITH A STEEL FOLDING CHAIR.

MICHAEL FALLS OVER THE BALCONY AND CRASHES THROUGH A WOODEN TABLE H2O-STYLE.

JOHN LOOKS OVER THE LEDGE TO SEE THE SHAPE LYING THERE;BEGINS TO WALK DOWNSTAIRS.

HE APPROACHES THE AREA WHERE THE SHAPE LANDED,BUT THE IS NO LONGER THERE.

[CAMERA PANS TO REVEAL...]

MICHAEL WALKING UP BEHIND JOHN AND WILL WALKING UP BEHIND MICHAEL.

MICHAEL RAISES HIS HAND [w/knife],BUT WILL GRABS HIS ARM FROM BEHIND,CAUSING HIM TO DROP IT.

THE SHAPE GRABS WILL AND CRASHES HIM THROUGH A DAMN TABLE.

JOHN JUMPS ON HIS BACK.THE SHAPE PULLS JOHN OVER HIS HEAD AND CRASHES HIM THROUGH ANOTHER TABLE.

THE SHAPE REGAINS THE KNIFE AND STABS JOHN IN THE LEG.HE GOES TO STAB HIM FOR A 2ND TIME,BUT JOHN KICKS
HIM IN THE LOWER REGION [DOWN THERE].

JOHN GOES OVER TO WILL.

WILL:We gotta get out of here.

JOHN:No,we can take him.

WILL:No,let's go.

THEY MAKE THEIR WAY OUT OF THE BUILDING AND DOWN TO THE SUV TO FIND THAT THE TIRES HAVE BEEN SLASHED.

JOHN:"Let's go call the cops."

WILL:"We can use the cell;it's in there." [WILL POINTS TO INSIDE THE SUV]

THEY GET THE PHONE FROM THE GLOVE BOX AND WILL DIALS 9-1-1.

[THE SHAPE WALKS OUT FROM THE BUILDING]

911 OPERATOR:"Were sorry,all dispatchers are currently busy."

JOHN:"Will!"

[THE SHAPE BEGINS WALKING TOWARDS WILL]

WILL:"Shit!"

OPERATOR:"Please remain on the line and for the next available officer."

WILL:"Come on!"

[SHAPE CONTINUES TOWARDS WILL]

OPERATOR:"911 emergency"

WILL:"I'm at Hillcrest Academy.We need help."

OPERATOR:"Okay,sir.What is your name?"

WILL:"Will.Will Brennan."

OPERATOR:"What is your emergency?"

[THE SHAPE IS NOW RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM]

WILL:"Get us help!There's somebody after us!"

[WILL HANGS UP]

WILL AND JOHN BEGIN DOWN THE DRIVEWAY TOWARDS THE FRONT GATE.

<HILLCREST ACADEMY,SECURITY OFFICE>

WILL AND JOHN ARRIVE AT THE FRONT GATE,AND GO INTO THE SECURITY OFFICE.THEY LOCK THEMSELVES IN IT.

[POLICE CARS SHOWN ALMOST TO THE HILLCREST GATES]

THROUGH THE WINDOWS OF THE SECURITY OFFICE,THEY SEE THE SHAPE WALKING TOWARDS THEM

SUMMER GLEN POLICE HAVE NOW MADE IT TO HILLCREST AND IMMEDIATELY SPOT THE SHAPE.

THE SHAPE IS AT THE SECURITY OFFICE,BREAKING IN WINDOWS,ATTEMPTING TO GET TO JOHN AND WILL.

[OFFICERS FROM THE FIRST CAR GET OUT AND APPROACH THE SHAPE]

OFFICER 1:"Stop!Stop right there!"

THE SHAPE CONTINUES BREAKING INTO,IGNORING THE OFFICER

OFFICER:"Hey,I'm talking to you.Now put your hands behind your back,you're under arrest."

[THE SHAPE TILTS HEAD RIGHT AND LEFT,INQUIZITIVELY]

THE SHAPE PUTS HIS HANDS BEHIND HIS BACK.

THE OFFICER GOES TO CUFF HIM...

BUT THE SHAPE GRABS ONTO HIM AND SNAPS HIS NECK.

[JOHN AND WILL RUN OUT THE SIDE DOOR AND INTO THE BRUSH]

A SECOND OFFICER APPROACHES THE SHAPE,BUT THE SHAPE GETS AHOLD OF HIM AND KILLS HIM H4 BRADY-STYLE.

Michael refocuses on finding John and Will,who have comandeered one of the patrol cars.The shape see's them and gets into the second patrol car,giving chase.
They drive off of the school grounds and into the Summer Glen hills.Speeding in excess of 45MPH,John drives the car through the windy mountain roads with relative ease,while we cut to Michael,who is having a hard time controlling his vehicle.

John turns a corner,Michael turns it,goes to brake,[cut to brake fluid leaking,pump has been cut] and the back rightside of the car nearly crashes into athe guard rail.

The shape looks down to his brake,seeing that it no longer has any effect.His attention is no longer on the road,and he misses a sharp left turn,sending
the car over the embankment,flipping the car a half-dozen times before plummeting into the lake below.[end]

Michael refocuses on finding John and Will.They lure him back inside the school,running from him through the hallways and up the stairs to the second floor of the building.John goes all through the hallway and out the door at the far end.Exiting the same door that he did with Keri and Molly on that same night in 1998,John is now on the outside stairwell porch,waiting for the Shape to follow.The door opens up and Michael stops on the porch,looking for John,who jumps behind the shape with an axe.He plants it into the Shape's forehead,sending the Shape tumbling down the flight of outside stairs.Will walks up behind John.End.

Michael turns his attention back to finding John and Will.He walks the halls of Hillcrest,unable to find either of them.
He opens and closes all of the closet and hallway doors.Nothing.The shape goes back outside,exiting through the midway door.
From a distance,he see's Will standing next to the gate that leads to the dorms.The Shape makes his way towards Will,who oddly enough is not even trying to get away.The shape continues towards Brennnan.Will goes inside the gate,the same gate separated John and Molly from Michael in 1998,and through the door.The Shape,too,goes inside the gate and as Will closes the door,from behind,John appears,and slams the gate,enclosing the Shape between the locked door and the locked gate.

JOHN:"Find a way out of that,asshole."

The Shape pulls at the gate,attempting to break the door down,but to no effect.

[Siren sounds,cops arriving]

JOHN:"More cops will be here any minute to haul your ass away for good."

John walks away from the Shape,going over to get the policemen.

JOHN:"Over here!He's right over here."

Together,John,Will and the cops approach the area that the Shape was trapped in.The green door now has
knife holes in the top of it,and the majority of the lower half is broken through.The shape has escaped.

[Laurie's theme plays as]
The front door to the Myers house closes [Michael breathing].
Loomis voiceover the scene:"He came home." [end]

One thing, he was 17 in 1998, I dont think he would still be at the academy in 2003...I believe it was just a high school. But its a good story. I also liked the ending, nicely writtin.
