Back again.
The best comedy in the history of television.
John Ritter, comdeic genius, and Don Knotts Ralph (sniffle) Furley (smile) and Richard Kline and his cyborgish physique.
The only character on the show I dislike is Lana.

Three's Company is probably one of my favorite all time shows. A funny story about John Ritter. Growing up with 3's Company in syndication and watching it 5 days a week, I really loved the show since I was a kid. As weird as this may sound, i always felt a weird, sort of kinship with John Ritter, like he was some long lost cousin. I couldn't explain it. The guy was there for me everyday after school and he made me laugh. (I know how wierd this sounds.) Anyway, after he died, my brothers and I both were genuinely upset. A week later, I was watching a movie called "Hero at Large." I have never seen of it, and to be honest, never heard of it even though it came out in 1980. His character's name in the movie was Steve Nichols. Steve Nichols happens to be both my father and my brothers name. I know it is stretch, but I just thought it was a weird coincidence.

Its odd, everytime I see Matthew Lillard in "Scream",he reminds me of Don Knotts as Furley. They have the same accent and the sniffle in between sentences is also a parallel.I wonder if Furley was in Matthew's mind while playing Stu?

Ahh....I've been waiting for this thread. Three's Company, hands down, is one of the best comedies of all time. Mr. Roper was the man!

Love this show. I sind the theme song while walking down the halls in school. Oddly, people sing along...
Though I'm relieved that John Ritter didn't get an Emmy for being dead this year.

They had some priced $14.99 and some priced $9.99. I took the $9.99 one to check out and it rang up as $14.99, So because it rang up differently than priced I got it for the $9.99 price. Also because it was priced wrong I got another $3.00 off for a grand total of $6.99 plus tax. A sweet deal if I say so myself.:)

Me and my girlfriend would sit on the couch late at night and cuddle as we watched the shenanigans John Ritter got himself into:D

She took it out because Mrs Roper had a COD and didn't have enough money for it. So she went to chrissy who was a couple dollars short. Chrissy then went in his room to make up the difference. Mrs. Roper said she would pay them back later on. Janet and Jack thought Chrissy was a clepto.

I just bought the second season on DVD not too long ago. One of my favorites of that season is the one where the girls leave Jack all alone for one night and he throws a party. Mr. Roper comes up to break up the party, gets invited in, has a couple of drinks and the next thing you know, he wakes up in the bed with Jack! Classic episode.....remember that one?

OMG, I LOVE Three's Company!!! It is the best! I watch it quite a bit myself and I picked up the first season dvd and I hope to get the 2nd season pretty soon. Man, I was so sad when John Ritter passed away...what a talented guy!!! He always makes me laugh in the show :D
I love Janet though...some of here expressions just make me crack up.
What's funny is, my mom was watching this when she went into labor with me...no wonder I like it! I've been a fan since before I was born! LOL :D
There are actually quite a few really awesome episodes! Like the cooking one where all of Jack's cooking notes get mixed up right before his cooking is to be televised and he has to read them all over the kitchen...even on Janet's ass (or was it Terri?)!!! Also Larry is a pretty funny guy too, but Mr. Furley is a riot!!! Man, I wanna pop in the dvd right now...classics!
I agree...Lana ruined all the episodes she was in...except for the camping one...that one still managed to make me laugh a lot. :D

I still cant see him as being dead, even a year after. He's so full of life and energetic as Jack Tripper, thats the way I'll always see it,and often even forget that he has passed away while watching the show.

As for Mr. Ritter's passing away, I will never forget when my friend sent me a text message to my cell right after I had gotten out of class that morning, and I just broke down...right after I thought it was an ugly joke. I was really upset for awhile. But, we can all still remember his classic antics as Jack :)

OMG, I can't believe there is a thread on this.
This is my favorite sitcom, ever. I love all the things that sound dirty, but aren't. It's hilarious.
I try to catch this on TV Land when I can, though, I must admit, I have been slacking lately, unfortunately.
I, too, was shocked and felt heavy-hearted when I heard John Ritter had passed away. He truly had talent and was a gravely underrated actor.

I really love this show and think that John Ritter God rest his soul did an excellent job, the girls were great too, Chrissy was hot, Janet was hot what more can I say they were all hot except for Lana, My favorite Three's Company episode would have to be when Jack was on the plane and he took all those pills and he was so hyper that he started dancing on the tables and everything a classic episode, he was just hilarious in that one
this show hands down is the greatest televison series of all time.

I wouldn't say she was HOT but alot of time if you really look at her, she wasn't that bad especially later on when she was sporting the Joan Jett hairstyle;) I'd still take either Cindy or Terry first but i've seen Cindy (Jennilee Harrison) on an infomercial and man did she hit the wall, fell outta the ugly tree too.
