Does anybody have any Boxsets , DVDs or VHS of any halloween movie. Me well I wanted to get a Halloween boxset but I am not sure if there selling any in canada (Canada rocks lol) I searched for Halloween DVDs but no luck (Except that I can rent H:R on DVD in my nearest videostore). I also been looking for VHS but Ive only rented the whole series (Not bought) but rented on VHS. So heres where you can talk about you're halloween movies.

Since all the movies aren't owned by the same company there is no box set here in the U.S.

Different companies own the rights to a few of the movies.

Look , I personnally think that their should be a boxset in Canada. Becuz im stuck with Star Wars and Star Trek (And I hate those kind of movies). Anyways the horror movies I have are : Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The Re-make in 2003) , Jeepers Creepers , Jeepers Creepers 2 , Freddy vs. Jason , A Nightmare on elm street , The Exorcist III and I am hoping to soon find a Michael movie anyways is their anyone who has alot of the halloween movies ?

MichaelMyers

Aernt u suppose to be 18 to use E-Bay if its true than Im too young. Even if I buy something its gonna be wierd , its like lets say I buy halloween DVDs off of EBay and some guy comes to my house to deliver it and collect their money I dont think he wants to see a 12 year old buying stuff off of EBay lol. Anyways would UK DVDs work in a canadian DVD player ?

MichaelMyers

Yeah, but you could always get your parents to do it for you.

Maybe... I was going to buy : Friday the 13th : From Crystel Lake to Manhatten boxset , they were selling it at walmart for 60.00$ plus tax is : 74.00. I was gonna buy it but SOLD OUT :( so I bought : A Nightmare on elm street for 11.45 , The Exorcist III for 6.88 , Scary Movie for 15.59 and Mean Girls for 25.95. Have you heard about the new Jason boxset ?

MichaelMyers

I have a Halloween U.S. box set of the first three called the "Halloween Trilogy". They're not labeled limited edition but only like 40,000 were made, the same number as the Anchor Bay Limited Edition, which I also have. You can ask me for a picture of the box set but most of you have already seen what it looks like by now. :)

There is 2 box sets in the Uk, the one ive got "The Ultimate Collection" has H1,H2,H3,H4,H5 and H7 on region2 so if you picked up a set on ebay it would probably go pretty cheap nowadays.
The other set is called "The Complete Collection" and includes part 6 and Resurrection but ive got them seperatly so im not going to buy another box set just for the coever just yet.( i will when the price drops, its £79.99 at moment).
If you havnt got a region2 player, why not pick up a multiregion on ebay, they were selling them cheap last time i looked.
I got one simply to play US dvds so i could get the Friday 13th set.

I got them both. They aren't really anything too special. You're just paying for a box pretty much.

There's a German boxset? Do you have a link where I could get more info about this? Thanks!

Corey, there's at least five German boxsets that have come out since 2000. The first, from a company called Laser Paradise, which had 1-H20 in it, is so rare that it starts at 200 Euro on eBay. It was recalled due to the whole H2-banning thing, which has since been resolved. A second set, containing 1-6, was released by Astro video in 2001 and is equally as rare. In late 2001, a triple set with 1-3 was released, and there have been two releases of H4/other horror movies and H20/other horror movies box sets. I have the 1-3 triple set, and I don't know of anywhere that you could get more info. ;)

I promised to post my H1 and H2 VHS. There the U.K editions. I found the image of the cover of the one I have on another website and will have to scan my H2 one because I have not found the image anywhere. I'm starting to think it's quite rare. Well here's the H1 cover and I will post the H2 cover soon. They're in great condition considering the H1 was released in 1984 (As websites I have seen state). If your interested in purchasing them or trading for them PM me. ;)

Well, personally I think all the Halloween things are worth the buying:p
And it will play on your dvd player if you have a multi-region dvd player. If you don't contact me via pm and tell me the company name of your dvd player + the model number of it and I will try to find something to help you playing all the dvd from around the world.

You can find the Asian box set on eBay from time to time. I bought mine for $30. It is region 1 so it should play on all US DVD players. Also, All of the movies are in English.
