Zombies are in Pontypool. Word zombies.

Actually, if you ask the director, I guess they aren't zombies after all...

I rented Pontypool a couple weeks ago. It probably worked better as radio drama. It was weird.

But Stephen McHattie was pretty awesome, and might be one of the only reasons to recommend the film.

Bruce McDonald is a great director. It was an interesting take on the Zombie genre and I've heard talk about a sequel.

I might watch this. Love McHattie.

I got a chance to have a great conversation with the writer Tony Burgess. He's very anti-Hollywood. He doesn't even have a literary agent. They are going forward with a sequel if anyone is interested.

I like Pontypool. Not interested in a sequel, but then again I'm pretty much never interested in sequels, but some of them are a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, I enjoyed the film, but I have no interest in a sequel. Why does every semi-successful film have to have a sequel?

Tony Burgess originally wrote Pontypool as a novel. He was going to write up a follow novel but was asked to write a sequel screenplay instead. For a small Canadian writer, money wins.

Worth a watch, but don't expect any revelations.
