Im not sure if this is in the right forum, and if not by all means move it..lol. But i was wondering if anyone had the exact measurements one would use to make your own custom dvd covers? What i mean is the length and height of them so i can format my document in photoshop to that size?

You should by Media Face at Walmart. The software allows you to make DVD covers and tons of other things to precise size. Then you print them out on the paper they give you and you cut them out. It fits perfectly with the case. Even if you get the measurements your printer will print them out in a slightly different size and it's aggravating. So try my suggestion!

Thanks! I didnt even know they made a software that did that. I knew you could make like CD labels and stuff, but I never knew they had software for DVD covers. I'll check into it! Thanks!

For some reason I can't seem to find it on the WalMart website. The price is about $10-15 for a starter kit which includes the piece you need to press on CD labels and a software disc along with the stickers. But you would have to order a set of DVD cut-outs since they aren't in the starter kit - but they do exist. Or you could just print the DVD covers out on regular paper and cut them straight along the line.

My printer prints out dvd covers perfectly. U just need to have ur settings on original size, so its prints the correct size of the file. What DVD covers are you planning on making? I'm a cover maker myself...

Like I said, I make DVD covers all the time, but rely on this excellent software I bought. It can print out anything you want to perfect size for DVDs, CDs, and more. Right now I am working on Halloween TV cut covers. A little off topic, but my only problem with the project is that the words for the movie description come out a little choppy, as well as the DVD logo. What I'm trying to say is, I have everything needed to make the damn covers - the software, my computer skills, etc. - but that's the only frigging problem - and my printer is near terrific. You can't win. lol
