Today's ad says 2 for $16.00 on halloween movie classics dvd's at Walgreens. Titles shown are:

Halloween: Extended Edition
Halloween 2
Amityville Horror
Scream
Friday the 13th

It also says titles vary by store. VHS are 2 for $7.00

Hot damn! I missed out on Walgreen's horror sale, which included H2, a few weeks ago, so I'll go today and see if they have the movie again. Thanks for posting.

Hmm my walgreens didnt have friday the 13th or halloween . But they did have 25 copys of halloween 2.

No. I have H2 of course and i thought about just getting it for kicks but i didnt want to waste the money. The rest of the movies there werent so good as well. Although Poltergiest II/III looked good but i would want the first as well.

Damn you!!!!!!!! lol I went to my Walgreens and they had nothing from the ad. They suck. The lady there said they might restock tomorrow. What's funny is that yours has an abundance of the very thing I was trying to get.

It is. :) I was shocked it had one let alone 25 copies of Halloween 2.

All I can say is, you're lucky to have a better Walgreens. Tomorrow I'll walk there and try again. Hopefully a shipment will come in.

Not on DVD, believe it or not. I have a million versions on VHS but I never bought a copy of the DVD. Isn't that sad?

Not sad, but utterly weird and unnerving that Dr. Mixter himself doesnt have the dvd. Heck i'd buy the movie myself and send it to for free if i could.

I still haven't gotten the Halloween Extended Edition. It seems that everywhere I go they're out of stock. I used to see them everywhere, but of course when I want to get it, it's gone. I'll definitely look into this.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. You can never find them in Best Buy. I got mine on Ebay, and regret paying $13 for a used copy.

Did you ask an employee for help? On the big noticeable rank they had nothing, so we decided to ask the cashier, and he led us to a small area in another section an average customer would never see, and they had all the good movies. Do you believe it? The better movies were down in that unnoticed area and the crappy movies and DVDs were in the middle of everything. Go figure. At least I have one now. They had like 4 or 5.

But I went to one forty minutes away because I was at a pumpkin patch today and passed by a Walgreens in the town. Better selection than our local one, that's for sure.
