I'm sure many of you have seen this one. There's also a British version with a different title, but I can't think of its name. It's more graphic.

Anyway. They do A LOT of Halloween on Terror. It's brilliant. And Donald Pleasance is one of the narrators.

I wish they would just release this one on DVD. It has yet to happen though.

Yes, that would be awesome. They could have original interviews with some actors from the movies that were portrayed.

You can find it on DVD at conventions all the time. It is of course bootlegged but it's either that, or dub an old VHS from your video store.

This is a great movie/documentary that really needs a DVD release.

We should sign a petition.

You know, when it first came out, the critics hated it because, "It was too much like a documentary." Boy, I'd like to know where they got their critic degree. It WAS a documentary! It clearly showed it in the previews.

I do enjoy it a great deal as well, it's one of the first horror related films I'd seen as a kid. Though I'd really call it a horror "clip" film as opposed to a documentary.

My favorite scene in the movie is where Donald Pleasence is watching Halloween in the theatre and yells out "GET HIM" LOL

Yeah, at a convention I saw a DVD of one. I think they were about to play it on a small TV set.

Yeah I can't remember what scene their watching when he says it.I think its either where Michael jumps out from behind the couch and she stabs him in the neck with the needle or when she's in the closet and stabs him with the knife. Its a pretty funny scene to see.

Yes, they were talking about how people in the audience start talking to the characters on the screen. Truly a funny moment.

I got mine at a convention, Chiller to be exact. When I was at Chiller last April, I remember the first night I was there. I was walking through the dealer/vendor room. I came across this one table that had a really cool layout of rare & unreleased DVDs. I didn't see anything that I wanted & was about to walk away, when all of a sudden, a familiar sight & sound caught my eye. There it was...right in front of me...the Terror in the Aisles DVD! And a copy of it was playing on the TV that was set up at his table. There were two copies left & I got one. It's not a commercially released version. lol..."Don't drop the knife, asshole...:)!

I don't know what movie its from.. but there is this one part when they are talking about villians that always makes me laugh when I see it. Some guy is dressed up like Santa Claus and he's robbing some place and he says some line like "Gimme the money fucker!"

Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.. its pretty funny. :)

Silent Night, Deadly Night's the one with that psycho Santa Claus trying to terrorize that little boy who's chillin' @ that convent or whatever.

The flick is worth a view for Donald Pleasence. His voice is perfect for the narrator.

I have the British video. It's got the same title though, don't know if it shows more than other versions or not. I love that Donald Pleaence is acting really terrifyed while watching a scene in the cinema and it's Halloween that he's watching with himself in. Almost as if Jamie Lee Curtis had been the one to shout out "don't drop the knife!"

I love that movie too, I remember watching it with my sister when I was 10, and the scene from Scanners where that guy's head blew up, sister kept rewinding that part and playing it in slow-motion.

it's my favorite part when the people in th audience are screaming and this big fat Mexican guy's chewing on his popcorn and says, "Hey, how'd they do that?" LOL:D

This thread is making me want a copy of the movie big-time. Donald Pleasence alone is worth getting one. Maybe I ought to keep my eyes open on Ebay for this item.
