Hmmm....I already made a thread about this, but it is no where to be found. Odd....
Anyways, I am working on film as a project for school and for fun. It is titled "Taut." I came up with it a few weeks ago, and have been working on the Rough Draft of the script since. It is deeply inspired by the films "Saw", "Se7en" and "Cube."
Here is a plot outline that will give you the basic concept of the film:
"A group of strangers wake up to find themselves in a small room. They soon discover that they are in a very large Funhouse. Clueless about how they got there, they soon find out that they are victims of a serial killer who goes by the alias "Stitches" or "Stitches the Clown." The killer, over a small intercom system, tells them about where they are. Deadly booby traps are strategically placed about the Funhouse, including all the exits and escape routes. There are clues that are hidden and spread out telling them how they will be able to get out alive. If they skip or miss a clue, it can be fatal for all of them. The killer then goes around wearing a clown mask to keep his identity sealed. Will they make it out...alive?"
There is the basic rundown of the entire film. A concept that has been used before. I will try and stray from ripping off those films, and do almost everything original.
After I script out a rough draft, I will then take it (maybe even post it) somewhere to be read and criticized. I then will plan on making a film out of it. Though, I am almost certain that the film will be very different from the rough draft, mainly because of the budget.
One thing I am doing is creating different concepts for the ending. I have at least 10 different endings I am deciding on. One that I currently like, is very similar to the ending of "Saw." So, see the film to understand what I mean.
Feel free to ask questions and speculate your opinions of what you think. Even though I am still writing the script, I have the entire story planned out in my head. So ask anything.
