Unlike the spoiled discussion thread, this thread is all about the spoiler tags. This is for people who've not seen it yet or are oversees and don't have access to it yet.

Like the other thread there will be no :yar: discussion here as well.

I go to work for a few hours and the last Discussion thread goes apeshit.

It took me a while to get through the pages of mayhem I missed.

I wish I was sober enough to understand what happened.

Anyway... 7:00 pm tomorrow. The wait is finally over.

I just saw an interview where Zombie was asked if he thinks any movie should be remade and he said no.

That right there tells me what I needed to know before going into this film. :bouncewall:

I'm sure at one time you thought girls were disgusting. Same concept.

I'm going with my girl tonight, hopefully it knocks my socks off.

At least I'll get to bang her though, so the night won't be a terrible waste.

I still do but damn, I like boobs

It's weird to think though. I remember years ago looking on the website for updates, then things getting pushed back, and it dragging out. The RZ was announced to do the remake, and then the first teaser came out. And now in less than 24 hrs it's here. It's like we watched it grow.

I need to sleep.

If you have the Starz channel they just ran a pretty cool preview of Halloween. Some cool interviews with the cast.

I was hoping to find articles in the newspapers my family subscribes to and sure enough, the Contra Costa Times has a large picture with a positive review. My San Francisco Chronicle didn't have anything (at least I couldn't find it when I looked), but there is a kickass two-page pull-out type poster with different images than the theatrical poster. So anyone in Northern California...be sure to save your papers or go out and get them to hold onto in your collection.

I'm confused.....don't they have cooties?

Anyways Zombie already went on record explaining why he thought that all remakes weren't as bad as he originally thought. There are good and bad movies, and I think that's all they should be quantified as. No reason to discriminate or split hairs.

I'll be seeing this movie in less than four hours. Finally!

But on a side note, Feraci's review over at the Chud was brutal. He gave it a "Fuck you out of 10".

That at least made me laugh.

hahahahaha!!!!!!!!

I'm sure my opinion won't be that extreme, on either the positive or negative side...but dammit if that isn't downright fucking hilarious.

hahahahaha!!!!!!!!

I'm sure my opinion won't be that extreme, on either the positive or negative side...but dammit if that isn't downright fucking hilarious. That guy is fucking hilarious. He had me rolling several times when he reviewed the entire Friday the 13th series back in April. Even if he's ripping into a movie you like, you can't get mad at him, because he's funny when he does it. I found myself agreeing with him a lot in those Friday the 13th reviews. That has me slightly leary in that I hope I don't end up agreeing with him about RZ's Halloween.

And speaking of which... the new Halloween movie, wow. That's all I can say. So much discussion dating back to my very first days in the Spring of 2003. So much excitement in June of 2003 when HM.com announced that another Halloween film had been green lit. All the debate and frustration over the past 4 years and by god here we are. For those of you who remember when this train ride first began (long before RZ was said to helm the project) can you finally believe we've arrived here?

Yeah... that rating is signature-worthy. Even if I happen to like the movie.

I think I would turn gay just for a night with Michael Myers.

My ass could take it.

You know, since we're talking about fucking and all. Oh, that wasn't what he meant when he said fuck you? Damn.

there seems to be Many brutal reviews....even calling it the worst movie of the year.

Creature Corner gave a bad review 0.5/10, and they were excited and the most in favor for this remake.

from creature corner:

I know most will hear these bad words about the film and not believe it, will have to see it for yourselves. It's your loss. I understand, I really do, but I pity you. Rather than spend the money on the film, do anything else. Buy dinner, rent the original, plant a fucking tree. Anything else.

I will definitly be going to see this a couple of times at the cinema, just a shame we in the UK have to wait until October.

I've got a question for you technical people. Did it seem like the film itself was cropped from one aspect ratio to another? The top of the actors' heads seemed to be chopped off.

I didn't like that they switched scenes sometimes just a 1/2 second after a charater spoke or at an odd time.

I actually noticed this in the scene where they pan the camera up to reveal Michael in the balcony. Although it's not that bad, it does cut off the top of his head a bit.
