A bit of advice.
This is the General Halloween forum meaning you can only talk about Halloween stuff okay.

Anyways Preditor.

Michael Myers 1

Myers, and if you didnt know it is Myers vs. Predator on that mtv tournament of terror thing. Myers is up but not by much. I still say Myers would win.

Predator could rip his spine out! I like to see him amaze us then.

Beau

Well that's tuff.
Preditor is a unstopable force and Michael is some supernatrule human.
I whould say Michael Myers. :)

And then he would beat the lump of skin with the spine and tie his mask on to his belt. Muhahahahahahahahahahah

michaelisalive, the point is that this conversation should have been taken to another part of the forum, like the General Horror Discussion.

That way you can talk all you want about who really won: Predator or Alien. I'll move the thread there right now for you. But in the future try to make sure the part of the board you post the thread in is appropriate! Thanks! :)

The Predators are so far superior to the Aliens it's ridiculous. Alien is one of the most overrated franchises in cinematic history and Predator is the best film of its time.
The Predator could blast a whole through Michael in seconds too. Sure Michael would come back sooner or late, but for the purposes of the fight, he'd lose.
As for who really won in AvP, noone really. They set it up so that if you're a Predator fan the Predators won and if you're an Alien fan the Aliens won, same with FvJ.

Ripley has the body of a ten year old boy. ~snicker~ Lets just face it. She is a LOSER in a predator movie. WINNER is a Alien movie and a LOSER in a AVP movie.

I was disappointed. The Aliens are like insects. The Predators are a race of born hunters. Now why did the Predators get their asses kicked so bad? It was stupid. Even an Alien fan could understand that it would be that way. What the Aliens have up on the Predators is their numbers. There are just so many! In AvP the Predators should have never been taken out so easily. Even if they are youngster Predators.

I know i was shocked at how dumb the Pred's were but i guess they were young and cocky and a Vetran wouldn't make those same mistakes.

Alien vs. Predator Sequel is Happening
Source: Sci Fi Wire May 4, 2005

In an interview with Sci Fi Wire, 20th Century Fox Film Co-Chairman Tom Rothman says that a sequel to Alien vs. Predator is happening.

"We will do another one of those for sure. It was a big success," Rothman said. "In the new Alien vs. Predator they will finally actually really come to our world."

Yeah, they mention on the Predator 2 commentary that an AvP sequel is already in the works.

Alien Vs. Predator II Is A Go

The sequel to Alien vs. Predator is happening and will most likely center on a battle in our world, 20th Century Fox Film Co-Chairman Tom Rothman told SCI FI Wire at the Saturn Awards in Los Angeles.

"We will do another one of those for sure. It was a big success," Rothman said in an interview before he received a Life Career Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.

"In the new Alien vs. Predator they will finally actually really come to our world," said Rothman. The previous Alien and Predator movies took place in the future, and Alien vs. Predator took place in a remote Antarctic location, though in modern times. The new film could bridge the gap between all the movies and the two horror film franchises, Rothman said.

"It's likely that we will bridge the gap, and the beginning of that will be setting it in our contemporary universe," said Rothman. He laughed when the characters were likened to terrorists. "They were always terrorists, yes, but only metaphorically," he said.

Well, I'll be damned! A sequel??? Cool. I thought the first was was a great time and I'm just happy to hear my aliens will be back on the big screen (although I'd much rather it be without the predators).

I really like the Predator so i don't mind a sequel. I really want to see a more mature Predator though. The ones that were in the first movie made a ton of stupid mistakes and the way they bit the dust made me mad.

Why is Fox so stupid? They had Ridley Scott, James Cameron and Sigourney Weaver ALL interested in doing a new Alien movie and they chose this garbage.

They chose is for a couple of reasons, well one reason which was money but for some different factors. Their last attempt, Alien Resurrection cost $70,000,000 to make, it made $47,748,610. It flopped. AVP cost $45,000,000 to make and it made $80,281,096. So it was a smart business decision for them. They probably didn't want to make another standalone Alien movie considering the previous attempt failed and FvJ was released and made alot of money so they knew that if they made AVP it'd make alot of money and it did.

ah but they had two men who's alien movies did not flop, and who have had a long string of hit movies. Cameron has the highest grossing film of all time.

I like both creatures equally. As far as who won, I think the first round goes to the Preds because they defeated or helped defeate the Alien queen, but the fat lady has not sung yet, so lets wait and see what happens this xmas.
