Of all the cool 80s horror films that haven't been able to make a good sequel inyears, which would you like to see do an anniversary film?

I would do a poll but I know I'd leave important ones out. lol so just post your opinions...

my number one would be:

Nightmare on Elm Street w/ Heather Langenkamp returning.

Friday The 13th w/ Tommy Jarvis (played by feldman preferably)

Troll 4 w/ Horry Potter Jr. (Noah Hathaway)

The Hills Have Eyes.An anniversary film would be badass, rather than a motherfuddkin remake.

Well, you COULD kind of consider New Nightmare an anniversary film...tho another one wouldnt be bad---Id like to see Lisa Wilcox return too...

In 2 more years Carrie 30th Anniversary would be cool if Sissy was back maybe as a mom with a daughter who has the ability but gets killed by the heartless highschool students and mom goes on a rampage...again.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with Sally Hardesty coming back (from the dead?) to study the legend of Leatherface and his family and facing him once and for all.

Exorcist, with Linda Blair becoming repossessed (she did a spoof of The Exorcist in which this happened...) by the devil years later, and how her daughter copes with it.

Just throwing ideas out...

The Howling- almost a quarter century(25 years) the whole incident in which that reporter Karen White turned into a werewolf on television, and got killed on the air is still talked about to this day. Much like the Roswell Crash, people are still up in the air over whether or not it was real or not. So a group of ambitious journalism students decide t retrace her steps leading up to that infamous night to determine whether or not werewolves really do exist, or it was one of the biggest frauds ever perpetuated on TV.

Prom Night, and i like idea of bringing bacl Tommy Jarvis for F13th. I'd like to see certain survivors from F13th movies all come back- Tina from part 7, Ginny(amy steel) from part 2, Jarvis, and few others from series. Maybe they couod have a reunion that they do every few years to support each other and cope with memories. Some of them could be neurotic chain smokers. Ther's a lotta possibilities.
Also, Psycho. Perkins' last Psycho movie I think indicated his character would be a father. A new Psycho movie could show Norman Bates' son all grown up. His character was worried he would pass on a sort of "crazy gene". The movie could go into the notion of it being genetic and/or environment of child etc.

I retract my SCREAM 4 staement.

SCREAM 4 with ALL the original cast making a a remake of SCREAM 10years after the first with someone killing the cast in the order the die in all 3 films (at first) set in the real world like New Nightmare.. wait thats almost SCREAM 3.

Doh!

Anyone remmber the rumors that Stu and Billy were in flash backs? That would rule!

Oooh, a old thread.

A Chucky C20 movie would be cool, with Chucky hunting Andy down. Scream 4 would be really good. A Exorcist 5 movie with Linda Blair returning (as said before in this thread) would be really cool, Warner Bros. should have done this instead of The Beginning.

Nightmare on Elm Street would be great.

The Lost Boys with the original cast not the lame stupid idea (the Lost Girls) of Joel Shumacher....i doubt they would all return (the 2 Coreys would for sure:D ) Jason Patric wasnt even on the Special editon DVD, i know Kiefer would do it again....i would make The new Movie more Darker.

Child's Play with Andy returning along with Chris Sarandon. That would definitely be an improvement to the series.

I had a very similar idea years ago for the final Friday film (part 13), where all the survivors gather to face their fears, including Alice, who, though alive, became crippled due to the ice pick into her brain.

Hmm......here's a list of what I'd like to see.....

U20: Urban Legends anniversary (Cuz u know THAT'S a classic, LMAO!!!)

SM20: Scary Movie anniversary (The Wayans bros. in their 50's)

Dawn of the Dead remake anniversary (Ving Rhames changes his name, and becomes the headmaster of a private school in California......until the living dead finds out where he lives!!!!!)

G20: Godzilla anniversary (cuz it's never over for poor Tokyo!)

R20: The Ring Anniversary (Sadako comes back, but this time, she's got grey hair covering her face, and a walker!)

Napoleon Dynamite 20: Pedro's Revenge (Napoleon's nightmare isn't over!!)

.....and finally!

"20 years have passed........AND GOSH DARN IT, I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, AND BY LAST SUMMER, I'M REFERRING TO THAT SUMMER 20 YEARS AGO WHEN YOU RAN OVER THAT GUY, BUT HE CAME BACK TO LIFE AND STALKED AND KILLED YOU!!!!" (Long title, isn't it? What were they thinking!!!)

The thing. Russell and craig return to battle it again.

Predator. I just want to see another R-rated Predator movie.

Lost Boys definitely. One of my favorite movies growing up.

Ghostbusters. Come on. Murray as Venkman. It'd be great.

and last but not least

Evil Dead. Ash returns to the Cabin to face his past and the book is read yet again.

Christine! That would be an interesting one. In the book, it's made clear that Christine is still out there somewhere. A sequel, if done right, might be a good thing.

The Shining.(although we've past 20) Danny returns later in life to face his demons, and stays in the Overlook. Jack the Caretaker and him have a showdown, with a little "tony" making appearances.
I'd also say Let's Scare Jessica to Death, where she returns to fight her demons as well, but I might be annoying everyone with this film obsession lately so I'll stop there. :)
